„The Stone Cottage is absolutely charming. My son and daughter in law both had to work one day, so the basement worked out beautifully. The loft and rooms were all cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped abundantly. The location next to Beacon Cafe was amazing, food was so good. Whitmers General Store with pizza and various entrees was a 3 minute walk down the quaint road. As a frequent visitor to Amish country I was looking for a new experience and Stone Cottage was a gem of a find. I ...

„My husband and I stayed for a couple of days, and it’s such a beautiful setting! The house is super neat and clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We enjoyed sitting on the deck soaking in the peacefulness and watching the wildlife by the lake. Our host was wonderful, checking in to be sure we arrived safely (late check-in). The check-in and check out process was super easy and smooth. All in all, this was a terrific experience! Highly recommended this lovely property. “

„Gorgeous property“

„I and my two best girlfriends traveled to Berlin for a short stay that made a lasting memory. My ladies were visiting for the first time and.we.stayed at Wurthman House for the first but not the last time. We had a 3 hour plus drive that we filled with chats and laughter. Traveling to our destination on the back roads on 36 was filled with beautiful scenery and small town travel in the slow lane. Our group thanks you for providing our "home away from home"!“

„Our stay was WONDERFUL, mostly due to the incredible customer service. The first morning, I overslept and got down for breakfast just after they closed everything. Instead of looking at me and frustration like most hotels, the woman cleaning up (I think her name was Amanda) was so kind and offered me coffee and something from the omelette station, as they had not yet completely shut that down. „Only stayed one night but will definitely be back. Brought our granddaughters to Amish Country for a little shopping trip and we stayed at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek. Of the entire trip, the girls liked the hotel the best. Comfortable beds, evening snacks, morning breakfast. Friendly staff, clean room, all round great place to stay. And the price point was very nice.“
