Beautiful 2 BR Apartment, fully equipped Kitchen, W/D for a short or extended stay and offers a stunning view of the ocean just off the balcony with BBQ, and private sitting area to watch the sunrise or just to relax and enjoy. Inside you can relax in air-conditioned comfort on those hot days, or curl up next to the electric fireplace on the cold nights while watching your favorite movie.
The centerpiece of the apartment for me is the walk-in shower with engraved glass panels. These etchings were created by a local artist and are one of a kind hand-sketched and feature the Bluenose and the Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, 2 of our most famous attractions here in Nova Scotia.
Kayaks available onsite complimentary, private island tours provided by the host are optional with advance reservations
You will have access to local shops and cafes, as well as the rails to trails walking path just across the street.

The home was an easy shot into Halifax where our Uncle lives in a Nursing Home. T was easy to go back and forth to visit him daily. We would return home to a relaxing view of the water. Perfect for the two of us

Excellent Stay

We stayed here for 6 nights, April 2-7. The interior of the apartment was exactly as pictured, a cute and private 2bedroom space with a lovely deck that over looks over the cove. The only thing I was surprised with upon arrival was that the apartment was located on top of a garage, and to access it you have to climb a moderate flight of stairs. This could have been my mistake for not reading the add throughly enough but, for me, the photos did not depict this. Luckily all members of our party staying here were able bodied and this was not an issue for us.The only other thing to note about this property is that it is located very close to the main road and if you sleep in the one bedroom that is closest to the front of the property you can hear a lot of road noise throughout the night. Otherwise this was a fantastic place to stay with all the amenities you could need, and the property manager, Steve, was very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Perfect for exploring!

Very easy to get to the highway to explore the south shore or HRM. Nice to have a separate space from the hosts. Hosts responded very quickly to any questions we had. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Loved the dishwasher! Consider bringing slippers as the floors get cold - not a big deal! The views from this second story are worth it!

Awesome Trip

We had a great time in St Margaret’s bay starting with waking up to have a relaxing coffee on the deck overlooking the bay . The place was the perfect size for the two of us but can house two couples with everything we needed . Steve and Johan were great hosts answered all our questions ,Steve took us out for an enjoyable 3 hour boat ride my husband was so happy I couldn’t wipe the smile off his face. It’s a great location for lots of place to visit like Peggy cove, Mahone bay ,Lunenburg and Halifax. We would definitely stay there again thanks again to Steve and Johan 💕

Nice Find

Thanks for sharing your lovely apartment with us. The apartment is very comfortable and truly seems to have everything one needs. I really appreciated that there were plenty of good quality towels and quite comfortable beds ! The location is a bit tricky for walking because you're right on a very busy road; however, a very short drive away you can park and be on a fabulous trail which follows the old rail bed. Friendly hosts in a beautiful area; thanks again for sharing this place with us.

Great location to get to many spots in NS. Steve is very accommodating and is there to help with anything you need. Location has all the amenities you need. Great to be able to grab a kayak or paddle boards and go out in the bay to explore the area. Would come Back again in the future.

Perfect!

This apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I. The location was perfect to tour up and down the coast. There was a grocery store 10 min to the east and The Little Ice Cream Shop was 10 minutes to the west (YUMMY!). If we ever head back to Nova Scotia we would stay here.

We spent 11 nights here and were pleased with the location with easy travel to Halifax or Lunenberg way. We loved the rails to trails pathway across the street and up the hill. We felt the place needs a good thorough cleaning. Such as, The bbq, the microwave, the oven, and the fridge. Thank you.

Exploring the Maritimes

This was a wonderful little spot in an ocean cove setting. A nice comfortable and clean space that gave us joy during our morning coffee or a peaceful dinner in the evening. Any small request was addressed quickly by the terrific hosts Steve & Joanne. A surprise boat tour in the am before our departure was a very nice unexpected extra. Needs work

At first glance the place was fine. It was once we were inside for a few minutes that we really saw it close up. The bathroom baseboard heater was full of dust and hair, the shower had mold around the entire edge where the wall meets the floor, the vanity drawers were full of junk and needed a good wipe and under the sink was also full and dirty. The light and fan switch are located behind a shelving unit, the electrical outlet is behind the mirror and is not a GFI. The kitchen sink was dirty, the bedroom windows were full of dirt and dead flies. The floor has some major dips, lots of squeaks, the electrical in the kitchen is a hazard! I have pictures of the wiring. Smh. The deck, which is over. 8’ from the ground has NO beam to support it! We- 3 adults with a combined weight of 470 lbs- sat on the deck one night. We noticed a bit of a sag in the decking when we stood up and notice the glass panels we actually coming out of the top rail because of the dip in the centre! The entire floor in the kitchen and living area shook when the washer, which is in the bathroom, went into the spin cycle. The second bedroom closet was so full of junk there was no place to hang any clothes. There is a split exchanger in the living area with AC, but it does absolutely nothing for the bedrooms so it was quite warm even with the windows open. Every time they open the garage door below the floor clunks. In the pictures this place looks wonderful, but up close it needs a lot of work.
