We just finished our stay, and unfortunately I wouldn't book this condo again. When we arrived for our 4:00 PM check-in, the cleaning crew was still there until around 4:30 PM. Even after they left, it was clear the condo had not been properly cleaned. Some of the issues we found included:Pieces of food inside the refrigerator stuck to the shelvesFood crumbs and debris on the floors.Floors so dirty that our feet turned black from walking barefoot.A dirty bathroom.Sand in the top bunk bed.Clothing from previous guests under the master bed.Furniture that was still soaking wet from cleaning, so we couldn't even sit down right away.We contacted the host, and to their credit they apologized and refunded the 150 cleaning fee. I appreciated that they acknowledged the issue, but it didn't change the fact that the condo wasn't ready or clean when we arrived. One other thing that concerned us was that the rental license posted inside the condo had an expiration date of April 30, 2026. I don't know whether the license had been renewed and the posted copy simply wasn't updated, but it was something I noticed during our stay. For a vacation rental that cost around 1,200, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and preparation. Had I known the condition the condo would be in upon arrival, I would have chosen a different property.
