Dovewood Overlook is just 5 minutes from the town of Oakhurst but feels worlds away from civilization. With breathtaking views this home is up on a hill overlooking Oakhurst, this amazing property has the following great features:
- Seasonal unheated pool and year round Hot Tub
- Fully appointed kitchen with large refrigerator and double oven (Kitchen stocked with pots, pans, silverware etc.) Salt, Pepper and oil are provided.
- In ground pool and hot tub
- Propane BBQ grill
- Wood burning indoor fireplace stove (must use paper wrapped logs)
- Multiple living room areas and seating options
- Large dining table
- Only outdoor cameras are on the property.

Pet Rules:
*Pets must not be left unattended in the home at any time
*Pets are charged a $20 per pet per night fee, plus a refundable $150 pet deposit after booking.
* Any damage from your pet will be at the cost of the guest and will be charged from the pet deposit.
*Guest must pick up all pet waste and must not leave pet to roam the house unsupervised. A $50 fee will be charged if pet waste is not picked up. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and an additional cleaning fee may apply if there is excessive dog hair, stains or damage to furniture.
*Pet deposit will be returned within 2 weeks of departure as long as rules are followed and damages are not found.
*Pets must be kept on a leash in all public areas (i.e. the driveway) at all times
*Pet deposit is forfeit if any pet rules are not followed

*Garage is not included in the listing
*Every person on the property at any time (including infants and children), must be on your reservation. Maximum guest occupancy is 16.
* Early check-in and late check-out must be arranged in advance and will come with a charge. The Housekeeping company pays their staff by the hour, whether they are cleaning or waiting for guests to leave. In general they charge a fee of $25 per hour to alter the check in or check out time

We are local hosts and live about 30 minutes away in case of any emergencies. We are always quick to respond to messages.

This is a very safe and quiet area.

You will need a car to get around. If you are planning to go to Yosemite, you can look into the YARTS bus to avoid the issue of limited parking in Yosemite.

Pool/Hot Tub: No Lifeguard on duty, please use at your own risk. Watch children near the Pool/Hot Tub at all times. Please shower before using.

The thermostat will only allow you to set the temperature between certain minimum and maximum temperature limits. Should you need to exceed these temperature limits there are additional fees.

Please note: some roads from the East, such as Tioga Pass and Glacier Point are seasonal and are closed October through June.

Pack-n-play must be requested in advance.

PLEASE NOTE: Pool is unheated and is generaly usable between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Hot Tub is available for use 24/7 but please know that the hot tub servicer may stop by at some point, during daytime hours, to service the hot tub. We do also have other service providers (Gardner, pest control etc) who may be outside on the property during daytime hours, from time to time.

You will receive a fee request after booking to cover housekeeping expenses. The housekeeping company charges $50 for checkouts on any of these holidays.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not alter our cancellation policy for instances of rain, snow, smoke from fires, failure to get reservations for the National Park or closures to the national park. Please purchase your travel insurance accordingly.

After booking, you will be asked to agree to a rental agreement which restates the policies detailed in this listing.

Lost and Found: All lost and found items will be kept for up to 7 days. Shipping cost and staff time to mail it back will be charged to the guest. The minimum fee to ship an item starts at $50 and may increase depending on shipping cost.
* Quiet time is 10PM-8AM
* Parking for 4 vehicles is included (no trailers/boats), any vehicle beyond 4 must be arranged in advance.
* Any guest not disclosed in advance of check in will be charged at double the nightly guest charge (plus taxes, $93.66 per night) for the duration of your entire reservation.
* We count INFANTS in your guest total, please ensure you have included them as `children` on your reservation, or you may receive a fee request after booking to correct the reservation if max occupancy is exceeded.
* No refunds for outages beyond hosts control, ex.WiFi, water electric, etc.
* Smoking anywhere on or in the property will incur a minimum $100 fee. Please smoke at the street or off site.
