„Ganz wunderbares altes Pub, sehr authentisch, hervorragendes Frühstück.

„Nothing to want! We felt well cared for and everything was to our liking. Normally we wouldn't choose a Hotel unless it has 4 stars, but here we made an exception and it was a pleasant surprise. Owners are sweet and helpful. “

„Ruhige Lage “

„I picked this property as we had tickets for a gig at the O2 Academy and wow, it could not have been any closer! Literally a 20 second walk across the road, which when the gig finished was amazing to be able to just fall straight into bed! The place itself is fine, could be better but as a one night stay it was perfectly adequate. The code for the door was emailed to me and worked perfectly, we had no issues. The showers are pretty rubbish (we had 2 rooms and both were the same), the shower ...

„Unfortunately not the place you like to stay for this price. The people are very friendly and open. There is a small restaurant and food is good. But the room was not clean. No light in the bathroom. Only to recommend when you want a secret meeting there, because the rooms are outside and direct from car part to access. And no breakfast or someone to leave the room keys.“

„Good place to stay in Headington. Good value for money. Great to have parking around the back.“

„Rooms are modern and nice. The rest wasn’t great at all. Half of the breakfast items were ‘unavailable’, the beer garden outside is full of litter and there’s glasses on the wall that look like they’ve been there for months.“

„Staff were lovely and very helpful. There was free parking on site, which was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and plentiful including, eggs however you like them, ham and cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast and jam, croissants and pain au chocolate. Very nice. Lovely big breakfast room with a view over the garden.“

„Let's start with the positive things: The hotel is very conveniently located on a quiet alley off high street, 5' walk from the Bodleian library, and 2' walk from the Oxford airline and Tube bus stop. The staff are all very helpful and efficient. The place is generally clean although the carpet in the common areas could do with a renovation. Now the problematic ones. The rooms are small. I was expecting that given that the hotel is located in an historic building. However, the real issue is ...

„If you like filthy rooms and bed bugs this might be the best adress in Oxford for you!“
