„Really loved staying here. I got an upgrade to an apartment... large downstairs room with king size bed and dining area, big bathroom and upstairs a lovely sitting room. Staff were friendly and professional. I felt very welcome.“

„Ich war für 6 Nächte dort. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich und ruhig, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind innerhalb von 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. In Norwich ist man in ca. 20 Minuten. Das Personal ist sehr sehr nett und stets bemüht, einem den Aufenthalt zu verschönern. Das Frühstück ist erstklassig und wird frisch zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind außerdem sehr gemütlich, ländlich eingerichtet und qualitativ hochwertig. Ich kann dieses Hotel/Pub sehr empfehlen.“

„We arrived later than planned and called ahead - this wasn't a problem. Room was clean, shower hot with great pressure, bed super comfy and breakfast was delicious (we'll definitely be back to dine for lunch or dinner!). Place is wonderfully done throughout and staff all kind and approachable. We could hear loud snoaring from the adjacent room (nothing some white noise can't drown out on our phones!) but we appreciate it's part of staying in an old characterful property. Great value for money ...

„The owner Phil welcomed us on the first day. He was totally amazing. The lodge was lovely. We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. The swimming pool is very large and you can book alone time in there which is nice. Excellent breakfast . Love the lodges in forest setting. So lovely. Nice fixtures and fittings. Excellent walk in shower. TV with three ...

„Terrible mattress on one of the 3 single beds in my room. Single meaning really narrow. I actually switched beds in the middle of the night, for a better but still far too lumpy mattress for my taste. Staff and owners were great, breakfast was good, but ultimately a pub up on a hill with rather rowdy guests on a friday night. Still: value for money, but I‘ll rather spend a bit more next time.“
