Wroxham Barns (2.5 miles) is to the south, a popular spot with a shopping village, junior farm, workshops and cafe. This is an ideal base for exploring the Norfolk Broads by foot, bike or boat, with Bure Marshes to the south (10.5 miles) and Hickling Broad to the east (9 miles). The historic city of Norwich is inland (13.5 miles), or you can head to the coast for a day by the sea at Happisburgh, Mundesley and Sea Palling, all within 12 miles. BeWILDerwood, Hoveton Hall Estate and Bure Valley Railway are all within 6 miles.
Entering this characterful, airy and light-filled property, you will be greeted by the spacious farmhouse-style kitchen which has ample storage and workspace, with plenty of equipment for preparing all your favourite dishes. From the lounge, patio doors open out into the charming walled and gated garden which has a pretty lawn and a terrace with plenty of outdoor furniture, offering a relaxing space for dining alfresco on a lazy summer’s afternoon. The cottage is part of a small complex of properties with shared access to a swimming pool – sessions can be booked separately. Private parking is available for one car.
