Welcome to The Sanctuary on Washington! Our home is minutes from Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, Great Wolf Lodge, wineries, and other CT shoreline attractions.

With room for 11, our home features 5 bedrooms and has ample space to relax, enjoy some quality time and most importantly, create memories.

There are 2 large living rooms, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a large kitchen with double ovens and a backyard fully equipped with a gas grill and backyard games for extra fun.

Whether you're planning a girls weekend, birthday celebration, or a getaway near Mohegan Sun, this home gives your group space to be together without feeling crowded, inside and out.

Inside, you’ll find multiple living areas to gather and relax, a large dining table for shared meals, and thoughtfully designed rooms that feel different from anywhere else.

Outside, enjoy a spacious backyard with seating, a grill, and games like badminton and ladder ball, perfect for slow mornings or relaxed evenings together.

It’s a home that feels fun, memorable, and easy to settle into.

The home has a private driveway with ample parking for multiple vehicles.

Guests access the home using a secure lockbox. Please remember to return the key to the lockbox at checkout. Lost or unreturned keys will incur a $150 lock replacement fee.

Lauren and Maria will be your hosts throughout your stay. If you need anything during your visit, we are always available by message, text, or phone.

We have blended that old-world atmosphere with modern comforts including high-speed WiFi, smart TVs, air conditioning, and laundry access so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so we kindly ask guests to respect our neighbors by keeping noise levels low in the evening and avoiding large parties or events.

You may be greeted by Boy, a friendly gray tabby from the neighborhood. He loves attention and pets, but please don’t try to pick him up or let him in the house.

Guests are welcome to use the outdoor grill during their stay. Please note that a $50 grill use/cleaning fee will apply if the grill is used. If used, a request for the fee will be sent through VRBO after check-out.

House Rules

• Registered guests only. Only guests included on the reservation are permitted on the property. Visitors or additional guests are not allowed for safety and insurance reasons.
• No smoking of any kind. Smoking, vaping, and marijuana use are strictly prohibited inside the home. Evidence of smoking will result in a $300 cleaning fee.
• No parties or events. The home is located in a residential neighborhood. Large gatherings, parties, or events are not permitted.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors, especially when arriving late in the evening.
• Please respect the artwork and decor. The home contains a curated art collection and historic pieces. Guests may not touch, handle, or move artwork or decorative items.
• Do not move furniture. Furniture and decorative items must remain in their original locations.
• No confetti or glitter. These materials are very difficult to clean and are not allowed inside the home.
• No tape, nails, or adhesives on walls. Decorations may not be attached to walls, doors, or furniture.
• Keys must be returned to the lockbox at checkout. Lost or unreturned keys will result in a $150 lock replacement fee.
• Please treat the home with care. Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
