Ok, but some issues to address

Large room and comfortable bed. WiFi so weak you couldnā€™t use it. No mirror in main bedroom next to a plug socket or desk to do hair and make up. Ended up crouching by the window with a hand held mirror and straighteners to get ready. Not ideal! Loads of condensation running off windows making sills and curtains wet.

Lovely boutique farmstead stay

Wonderful stay. The beach room was on trend. Loved the pebbles on the floor and walk in shower. The prestocked fridge with welcome items was a fab touch too. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were super helpful and attentive. They even called to ask if we wanted a table for dinner. We said no, but if we had been sent a menu by email in advance I would have said yes! One area of confusion it says no towels and sheets. There was towels to bath and a freshly made bed on arrival, so do not plan to bring your own sheets/towels for a one night stay.

Restful break

Beautiful lodge with lovely, spotless room. Thoughtful complimentary drinks fridge including fresh milk and prosecco. Excellent breakfast and our dinner at the restaurant was second to none. All staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating making our short break restful and enjoyable.

This was a very casual and friendly welcome. The private village setting is awesome, the room (The Playroom) is great. lots of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The only downside is nowhere to set up my laptop, but that pales besides the great atmosphere and senational setting.

Excellent and great value

This is a beautiful hotel set in a rural location, but not far from all amenities. We booked ā€˜The playroomā€™ room as it looked amazing on the website. It didnā€™t disappoint, looking exactly as per the photos. Absolutely spotless!! My only tiniest gripe would be that the toilet seat didnā€™t stay up, and the door to the room, being the original Victorian type, isnā€™t soundproofed, meaning you can hear everything that goes on outside and down the stairs, and they in turn, can hear you. Not that great if you want to play in the playroom. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful people Iā€™ve ever came across in my vast hotel experiences. Nothing was any trouble at all. The ā€˜snugā€™ room has an honesty bar, should you fancy a tipple in the evening, It has books and dvds should you wish to take one to the room, as the TVs have built in DVD players. The full English breakfast is very tasty, albeit a tad small. You can, however, top up on fresh fruit etc which is readily available, along with the unlimited nespresso coffee and orange juice. All in all, most excellent, and would highly recommend.

Very warm welcome, great room excellent breakfast. The picture on Expedia is of Blickling Hall a National Trust property, the room pictures are correct, the actual property is Brasted Lodge which has 5 rooms. The property owners tried to get Expedia to change this but to no avail other websites have the correct one.
