„We stayed one night last weekend, we had to be moved because the toilet flush didn't work but fortunately that wasn't a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are far enough away from the bar so as to be quiet. Our only small criticism of room 3 is that it's in the eaves and the shower screen is fixed so it is almost impossible to turn on the bath tap without actually getting in the bath! A silly design fault. The location on the river is lovely and it was good to have a drink ...

„On arrival at Bell Cottage we were met by occupants who directed us around the corner to the owner's house. The owner was not in but able to communicate via the Ring doorbell. We were greeted warmly and told where to collect the keys to a different property with en-suite and a shared kitchen, situated to the the left of the owner's house. So a bit of confusion to start with, but the attic room we occupied was lovely, cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay. “

The room was clean, though in need of a few bits of maintenance (loo roll hooder rusty and broken, water in the sink due to the plug not staying out, loose socket by the bed). The bedding was clean and there were a good selection of pillows with different hardness. The mattress was a little thin but ok.
