„I was in town for my son‘s 12 U baseball game at dreams park. I love the location away from the hustle and bustle and the quiet sleepy town. Judy was amazing in communicating everything we needed about our stay. The house is clean and well appointed, if you were looking for a quiet and relaxing yet close enough to other towns, I would really recommend this unique home and location.“

„I lived on the west shore for 15 years before 2000. I knew the magic of the lake in Spring, before the schools were out and the motorboats roared past. The road was narrow and crowded, and summer folk found their camps again. Friends found peace and quiet away from the city of Syracuse. Quilting was done, and meals could have been obtained in the town.“

„I wish I could keep this place a secret but it seems the secret is out. The Barnhouse is exactly as described and pictured, and it is so close to Colgate. It was perfect for our small family's short stay. Will and Wendy provide everything you need to make it feel like a home away from home. 10/10“

„We stayed in the beautiful mystic mountain lodge while we visited from out of town for a wedding. The lodge was nice and secluded, with a beautiful view of the night sky and surrounding mountain scape. The lodge itself was warm and inviting, with a large kitchen and so many areas to relax and unwind. 10 out of 10, would stay again.“

„The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.“

The one good fry pan had baked on food, floors were dirty. The place itself is nice and is still being worked on. Comfortable living area. Rustic. Lovely views from 2nd floor. There is no paved driveway, so if it is raining there is mud. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels/linens. Very close to Bainbridge and convenient for the Clinton ...

„A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway.“

This was by far the nicest experience we have had,Just a beautiful large comfy home. Immaculately clean and well stocked. Ping pong in the basement kept the kids occupied during a rainy weekend.
