„Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Woche. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Allerdings liegt es sehr nah an der Straße, so dass der Verkehrslärm etwas störend wirken kann. Im Garten hätten wir uns ein paar Blümchen gewünscht.“

Just a few minutes walk to the beach and also to many local shops, bars and bistros. Newbiggin is the best base to explore many of the area's attractions: Lindisfarne, Newcastle or Yorkshire. „Lovely stay in Amble at Jo’s property. The house was fab much bigger than it looks and great distance to lovely walks along the shore and round harbour and marina .Easy parking at house . Lots of nice places to eat nearby too. A great base to see more of the area too. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend“

„This cottage is a gem. Communication with host was easy and we always had a prompt reply. Check in also very easy. The cottage was warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. There were fresh flowers,chocolates,fruit and wine plus milk bread etc. The location is quiet and peaceful with lovely views. Sue and Phil are great hosts and very helpful with info on great places to visit. We would definitely stay here again.“

„Very enjoyable stay with excellent views.The property is in an excellent position to walk to all ares of the town. We were able to park right outside the house due to the polite no parking notice in the window. Beds were comfortable along with clean and very fresh bedding and towels. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked with almost everything you could need to cook with. Worth noting is the fridge freezer and tumble dryer in the garden shed. All in all a really enjoyable stay just not long ...

„We enjoyed our stay very much. The decor and furnishings are very good and the outlook very relaxing. The only negative was the bins, being told we would be fined 100 if we put the wrong rubbish in the wrong bins made me a bit paranoid. It would be helpful to have some physical information to hand rather than the email we received as different areas of the country recycle differently. The online guide was helpful but it would have been good to have a bit more local info re walks etc. overall we ...

„You get several automated emails/SMS, but it's not always clear which of them apply to you or not (myself non-Britain tourist). After coming-in the WiFi does not work, after rebooting the router and many emails with the resonsibles it was found that there was a misreading in the password; it would have been better if it's computer and not hand-written to get rid of such misunderstandings. Unfortunately the lodge lies on a very busy road and the distance between the house and the road is only 1 ...
