„We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. „We stayed in Bayfield for 3 nights and this house did not disappoint. It’s just a few miles north of downtown Bayfield, and is nestled in the woods in the Brickyard neighborhood. The house is very well cared for, clean, with quality appliances, linens, and bedding. This house is also tastefully decorated without a lot of knick-knacks cluttering up the space. „A great place to stay in Birchwood with friends and family. The place was clean and had everything that we needed to make us feel at home. The host was friendly, helpful, and accommodating at every point during the booking process. The only issue we came across was the slightly confusing access road...perhaps additional signage would help clarify direction toward the property a bit better. Otherwise, no complaints! Thanks for a great stay!“

„My wife and I own a very reactive dog that loves to explore the outside but hates cars and other dogs. This property was excellent. Tons of open space he could roam off leash on a beautiful little lake. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors with him. Highly recommend if you want a quiet place to stay for the weekend.“

„This place checked all the boxes for a long weekend. “Limited mobility” friendly with bedroom and shower on main level. Loved the walk with the puppy to exercise and see wildlife and sunsets. Everything you needed, well supplied for families and out of way for quiet getaways. Would definitely return (with matches for the fire pit). “
