„Perfect place to stay. The Heron has a feel like staying in a private large beautiful home. The property and the lake are very clean, easily accessible everywhere. I would buy a room at the Blue Heron if I could. One of the best privately owned hotels I’ve stayed in. I’ve stayed in places in England , Scotland , France, Canada & all over the U.S. from Rhode Island to Arizona . We took our well behaved dog and she loved it too. The food is great around the Heron. „I liked the atmosphere and the staff. All were upbeat and desired to help in anyway possible. Even the decor was upbeat and colorful. I loved it.“

„The only thing that was good was the check-in. But they “forgot” to inform us that the house keeping didn‘t exist or function. In four days none serviced our room, the hallways where dirty, floors, bathroom everything. When we needed something like toilet paper or clean towels we need to get it ourself…. A hick up is OK, but not for 4 days!“
