„The property had more than enough space for my family of 6 adults. It was peaceful, minus the occasional train, with plenty to do. My adult kids loved the game room while my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It is just a short drive to town, but we did everything from grilling on the deck to playing a rowdy card game around the large table with friends. Beds were comfortable and Kara’s home was clean. We hope to stay with her again in the fall. “

„We stayed here for three nights to go hiking in the area with friends. First, the positives: The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood, a short drive to town and not far from Starved Rock and other parks. Check-in was smooth and the house is nicely decorated and seemed clean. Unfortunately, there were a lot of issues that should have been addressed before renting it out: There were a lot of ants in the kitchen. There were problems with doors not opening/closing properly, a shower head that was ...

„We had a great time. It was a close drive to Galena and still secluded to feel like we had a private getaway. We had deer come to drink by the creek, and a nice area for a bond fire. The home was beautiful and the owners were really nice. We would definitely book again.“

„Nice corner unit for us and our pup Ernie to stay in for a long weekend. Brian was super helpful getting us inside when we locked ourselves out. Gave great restaurant recommendations. Don't sleep on Otto's, went there for breakfast both mornings. Cucina Bella was delicious and the chocolate mousse was incredible. Fried Green Tomatoes was a nice way to end the trip. Next time need to bring our clubs... Lots of golf courses around. Would totally come back to enjoy the peace and quiet on the ...

„We couldnt have asked for anything more. This place was perfect for a guys fishing trip on the Mississippi River. Fighting and mostly landing huge channel and flat head catfish, carp, drum and bass the entire weekend.Even when packing up to leave I had my pole nearly snatched out of the pole holder but it got away. We will definitely book again next year!“
