„What a great property! My wife and I had our two sets of parents with us for a long weekend in DC. We loved having Lakewood Lodge as our home base for adventures around the county, as well as our refuge when it was time to relax, nap, or cook dinners in. We loved unwinding in the evenings in front of the three-season porch's fireplace with glasses of wine. Beds were all comfy. Kitchen was well equipped. "- Room was not made for the entire stay of 4 days. - Room so noisy I could hear me neighbors noises load and clear. - Sauna is small, anything but hot (I guess around 60 DEG C), lacks Thermometer and Hygrometer gauges. - Jacuzzi had masses of foam on top like someone had poured soup into it. - Swimming pool is so shallow at one end that swimming is impossible and will hurt your feet and knee. - Today I was for breakfast in the Restaurant a few minutes after opening. 2 Customers, 5 employees. From ordering Omelette to serving it was 32 minutes. Breakfast took 58 Minutes in total. - This hotel could do with a refurbishment and serious employee training. "
