„The Wellington Heifer was a great choice for our overnight stop. The welcome was warm and relaxed, the room large, clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. The meal on the evening was of a very high standard, but accordingly priced. You get what you pay for, after all. The breakfast in the morning was promptly served and, again, of a high standard. „This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The owner, Sue, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Car parking was provided at the back. The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. “
