Hotels North Tazewell

„Older property but clean and close to everything. Stay here annually“

„Hotel lobby was very clean but our room was filled with stink bugs (counted at least 10 visible) and TV did not work. We called the front desk (which they seem to not believe us) and came to room to validate our concerns. We were told they have a stink bugs problem that they couldn’t control and verified….. yes the TV was broken ( turned on with sound but no picture). Staff ended up changing our room with NO Bugs and a working TV.“

„Just what I needed“

„Front desk friendly and responsive. Room updated and clean, bed comfortable. So close to restaurants - enjoyed Dolly's.“

„Clean, convenient and comfortable.“

„No deadbolt and the door latch mechanism was missing from the jamb. Had to rely on the latch in the door to catch in the open hole in the jamb. There was a security swing latch that barely closed. There was food and candy wrappers on the floor in the corner next to the bed. Walked across the floor barefoot and had to clean my feet before putting socks on. Shower head coming out of the wall and spout pulled away from the wall.“

„Didn’t like how the buildings were set up it was really confusing. The toilet didn’t really flush very well. The shower water pressure was decent but not great. The hair dryer didn’t work. The tv said we got channels 9-37 and there were only about 5 channels that actually were able to watch. All the other ones were like abstract paintings. The rest were just snow. The room was clean and the staff was friendly getting new towels for the second day. But they only have two. Could put a couple more ...

„Old, dated, dirty (probably original) carpet. Paint peeling badly. Limited outlets. You could either plug in the lamp or the TV. When we arrived both the TV and microwave were unplugged. Three light bulbs were burnt out and there was a hole in the desk chair. If you swung the bathroom door shut and let go, it stopped. Tried two luggage carts and both had one flat tire. “Breakfast” was either a waffle (only one waffle maker) or cereal. Coffee was limited and had to remind staff to refill it. ...

„The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the property“

„You get what you pay for. We got the last first floor room which on a rainy night was good. Beds and sheets were clean. There were issues with things that should be hanging on the walls. No place to hang our clothes, no pictures or mirrors except over the sink. Shower gel sitting on tub, not hanging on shower wall. No breakfast available although there were tables and chairs in the lobby This place did not come up to Wyndham quality.“

„The hotel was great. My room was very nice. The bed was more comfortable than some very expensive hotels that I have stayed at. The staff members were all great. There are many dining options nearby. There is plenty of free parking. This hotel is very convenient with regard to access to the highway. I would highly recommend this hotel when comparing to the other hotels in the area and in Beckley, WV. This hotel is very nice and affordable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.“

„CLean room and helpful staff“

„Servicepersonal ist sehr gemüht. Das Zimmer war o.k. Aus meiner Sicht ist es immer ein schlechtes Zeichen, wenn der Zimmer-Fernseher besonders viele Kabel-Kanäle im Angebot hat: ja, es gibt einen Frühstücksraum, das Angebot ist mehr als sparsam (keine Angst: unten im Ort gibt es einen Starbucks); keines der Geräte im Fitnessraum funktioniert.“

„Helpful staff, clean room, great reasonable price. Only issue I had was getting the TV working.“
