„View was spectacular. Check in and out was easy. Room was beautiful, outside areas were a little scruffy but as soon as you walked inside it was stunning. Loved the bath and shower with a view. Breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. Only negative was that there is no door on the toilet in the cabin. Be prepared!“

„We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding at Palmwoods. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was well presented and very clean. We had a bedroom, a lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and a clean and neat bathroom all with its own entrance.“

„The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The area had no traffic noise. The bed was wonderful. We had a beautiful stay. Thank you so much.“

„So cosy & clean. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Merrill is absolutely the nicest host ever, so helpful and accomodating. The whole place, not just the rooms, were immaculate! Could not fault anything.“

„Ideal location, close to shops, beautiful views to the coastline.Plenty of room for the 5 of us.Having the fire alight on arrival with plenty of wood to keep it going was marvellous.Excellent communication with the host prior & during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for a short winter break away. 🫶“

„Friendly. Wonderful location, views and breakfast. Top ! “

„After a lovely 2 night stay in Alexandra retreat. Couldn’t fault it, incredible breakfast provided by Paul the host on both mornings of our stay. Beautiful room over looking the pool and hinterland. Stocked mini fridge in the room and bathrobes. Only 2 rooms in this property so it doesn’t feel like your normal bnb, both rooms are on the bottom floor so private from the hosts. House is close to a few townships so good options for dinner etc Would definitely stay here again“
