„I came with two friends. We were here to bike the Colchester Causeway and do some kayaking. We also visited the Ethan Allen homestead and spent time in Burlington shopping and dining. The house was in the perfect location and was just lovely. It was a mix of quaint eclectic and lake decor. The beds were very comfortable, there was a nice kitchen and dining area and a cosy living room. We were steps away from the dock and kayak launch so there was always the sound of water lapping the beach. ...

„The property I think is as described and the location by the causeway is pretty fantastic, that is the big draw. Being able to walk/ride out to the causeway is excellent. Little things though marred the experience for me. Tiny coffee machine that is a little broken (top falls off, often into cup as you pour) - very cheap and can only make 2 cups. No coffee filters provided. Toaster is tiny, cheap and a bit hard to use. There is no established path so you are just trotting about 50 yards across ...

„The place is private, peaceful, clean and well maintained. Dave, the owner, even warned us of an approaching storm and advised us on how to protect screen porch furniture upholstery from getting wet, so communication was excellent, too. “

„The house is really nice. Great full kitchen and nice bathroom. The view is great of the lake. Be aware most things close early around there and nothing is close (food, etc), so get groceries or plan ahead. Great place overall.“

„We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite bad weather all week. The property is as described. The view was lovely and we appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. The only potential issue is that the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are very steep, as others have noted, and our dog wasn’t able to climb them. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and it was great to get away.“

„Upon entering the cottage, there’s a blanket in the living room that says “let’s stay here forever” and we seriously considered it! This place is well appointed, open floor plan, tastefully decorated, and was absolutely spotless when we arrived! Mike and Andrea are very attentive hosts, and have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We had such an enjoyable and relaxing stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!“

„The property was beautiful and spacious. Wish there was more seating in living room. Paddle boards and kayak were fun. Did not receive code to check in until after arrival time so that was challenging. Water had a strong sulfur smell. Should let guests know prior to bring drinking water Overall a lovely place“

„Interesting home, well appointed. Some issues with cleanliness, for instance moldy coffee grounds in the coffee pot. House was 51 degrees on arrival, took over 24 hours to warm up to 63 degrees. No help provided by owner or Vacasa. However the location and layout of the house worked perfectly for us and we had a spectacular eclipse experience.“

„Our son goes to UVM and felt like exploring the area beyond Burlington. This was the perfect location for us to make day trips to bike the Colchester Causeway, get fresh apple Cider, take walks by the lake and see Montreal. The cottage is cozy and cute with lots of thoughtful touches, including robes, slippers, toiletries, local snacks and more. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who our son no doubt missed more than us! Highly recommend!“
