The cottage is cute, well stocked with anything you could need, has an tv in every room, and the hot tub is very enjoyable. The beds and sofa were ok for a couple nights. There were plenty of extra blankets. The only downside was there a 125 cleaning fee and when I got there I felt the need to clean a bit. „Place was very nice and just what we were after. Don't take what I say next as if we didn't like the place for the good definitely outweighs the not as good. I'm nit picking here but the floors were cold, the appliances (microwave, toaster, etc.) all needed carried from their storage spot to the kitchen counter, a small nuisance. „House has beautiful views , plenty of beds and everything you need from glasses to pots, pans, etc. all the little touches like digital lights, fans and fireplace make it a great property. At dusk a fifteen minute tide up 17 almost guarantees moose sightings. Kids had a blast in the game room. Master bedroom with couch , loveseat and tv is the perfect parent escape at night . Would highly recommend this property “

„This is a beautiful cozy cabin to stay at for all your outdoor activities. The cabin was very clean and had all the essentials for cooking. The location is close to everything we needed for supplies, groceries, gas, and dining. Amanda was very good at communicating with us. Our kids had an absolute blast playing in the snow during the snowstorm, especially with my in-laws' rental cabin being so close. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed for our 4.5-day stay. Despite the coldest temperatures I've ever experienced and fierce winds, the cabin remained warm and we only lost power for a brief minute. The manager was always prompt in responding to my texts, which was a great help.“

„We had a wonderful time in spite of gray skies and rain. The cabin was cozy and we loved hearing the ducks in the morning and the loon in the evening. Even had a family of deer with 2 fawns in the yard eating apples. Being right on the water was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet which was what I needed! Walked into town in between rain showers, ate a lot of good food and ice cream! Would definitely come back again!“

„The owner has done a very nice job with this cabin and property. Cabin is clean well built and the lay out is perfect. We stayed there for a week of hunting and had a great time. I will be booking it again for next season if it’s available. Brian“

„We stayed here for a week with 12 people. There was enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Two refrigerators made storing food a breeze and the kitchen had everything we needed as well as a gas grill. The location is perfect if your goal is to spend the day swimming in the clean, clear waters of the lake or hiking the nearby trails. It is a solid 30-40 minutes to any store. „Skied Sugarloaf and Saddleback. Nice location for both. House had a very nice sitting area for the number of guests it holds. Well insulated and recently updated. Hard water but Pur filter system in refrigerator provides softer water for drinking. Just is very responsive. “

„4 hours before check-in we got an email stating that our cabin was no longer available due to unforeseen circumstances. The property management team was able to get us set up in an identical cabin and even went out of their way to bring an extra bed over to accommodate our group size. The place was beautiful, absolutely spotless. It was a weekend we will never forget. “

"Das Haus wurde mit Liebe und Engagement erstellt. Das Hostel of Maine lädt ein, egal zu welcher Jahreszeit, länger dort zu verweilen. Familiäre Atmosphäre, Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Kamin, Küche, in der man selbst kochen kann und auch ein Angebot an TK. Gerichten zum Aufwärmen und Getränke. Frühstück ist gut, bei allem wird auf Nachhaltigkeit geachtet. Als Gast ist man gleich Teil der Hausgemeinschaft. Zimmer super, geräumig, schönes Bad und alles super sauber. Beim nächsten Besuch in Maine gerne wieder."
