„Very comfortable and a fabulous place to watch the tide come in, with river otters and abundant wildlife. Gorgeous sunsets and moon rises. There was no freezer (it was a hot week in July--I hadn't noticed that in the listing), and no laundry (which had been in the listing, hence the 4 stars for that), but we managed with the local laundromat and daily trips out for gelato and sorbet. Very helpful service when the first entry code didn't work on arrival, and when the smoke alarm malfunctioned.  ...

„This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! “

„The view is absolutely stunning! The property is more than it states. I will add a tiny bit more information. The driveway does indeed fit 4 cars. Just keep in mind that 2 cars will always be buried at the front and it’s a slightly curved in and slightly curved out. Pauline briefly mentions the little tram. However it was a game changer for our little group as you can unload and load less than 300lbs of luggage and groceries and with a person at the top to send it down and people at the bottom ...

„We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. “
