„Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Da es im Zimmer keinen Kühlschrank gab und leider auch keine Eiswürfelmaschine auf dem Gelände, wurde uns mit Eis für die Kühlbox ausgeholfen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Bad war etwas abgewohnt. Schönes Gelände mit Sonnenliegen, Sitzbereich und Grillmöglichkeit.“

„We had an excellent time at the property. Hassle free checkin and checkout, they have a river trail right next to the resort which made for a perfect morning walk. The cabin was in pretty good condition. Very close to the major hikes as well, highly recommend for anyone visiting. “

„The place was perfect for our family of 4. I read other reviews that if you have Verizon you would have great signal and hot spot if you needed it which was true for us. As part of your stay they provide three bundles of firewood, smores kits, coffee, cocoa, and tea. A definite plus, which we took full advantage of. Fire starter and lighter sticks also provided. „Was already nice and toasty inside which was wonderful since it was freezing outside. All instructions were easy to follow getting there and inside the cabin. Very clean with a little binder that had details on anything we’d want to know. Everything stocked inside that we could need so that was a nice surprise. TV outdated and very slow, that’s the only small gripe we had. “

„Nick’s place is such a gem - not only is it incredibly clean and well-cared for, but you get to be right on the river. We never get to bring our dogs on vacation because so many places have weight limits on dogs (which is totally fair), so it was a really special treat to get to bring our two big dogs with us. „Amazing property in a secluded feeling area while still being a reasonable drive to downtown Bellingham and a short drive to beautiful Whatcom Falls. The house was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, good cooking supplies, even the toilet paper was high quality! Communication from the hosts was very good and they accommodated a special request we had. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!“

„You cannot beat the view from this property! My family and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend here while heading into Bellingham for fun during the day. There are stairs to access the property (which we knew), but that is something to consider if booking. The access road and driveway are also fairly steep--we have an AWD so it was not a concern. „The deckhouse was cosy and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the details like snacks and toiletries. I could not figure out how to use the coffee maker. I also wasn't thrilled with the view of freshly cut trees in front of the windows. Chuckanut drive was beautiful as always. Overall it was a positive experience.“

„Beautiful home and such a dreamy location. You can’t beat the sounds of the river and nature right in the back yard. We really appreciated the accommodations! The hot tub, fire pit, stocked kitchen, comfy beds and also the really good hot water were just the drop in the hat. Great trails nearby as well. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back! “

„What a lovely stay in the heart of the Cascades. From the sounds of the rushing Cascade River to the lovely cabin, wood burning hot tub and riverfront fire pit, it was a relaxing getaway. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend — a fun, eclectic collection of decor, a well equipped kitchen and a Japanese soaker tub.We were able to explore many trails and lakes of the North Cascade National Park. „My 80 yo mom and I stayed in the cabin for the night. We loved the cabin very much. Cool location and comfortable cozy decor and layout. However, the stairs were difficult for my mom to navigate inside the home, as well as the compact snow and ice to get to the bath house. “

Ein normales Motel, wie man es erwartet.

"Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Autobahn, daher ist es sehr laut. Der Service war hervorragend. Die Dame am Empfang tat mir leid, weil sie sich mit einem pöbelnden Gast auseinandersetzen musste und mich gleichzeitig bedienen wollte. Das Zimmer war riesig, die Betten komfortabel, aber wir waren leider im Erdgeschoss und das Fenster ließ sich nicht abschließen, daher fühlten wir uns nicht so sicher. Insgesamt macht die Gegend einen positiven Eindruck."

Nicht gut!!

"Der Empfang war freundlich, das war's dann aber auch schon. Die Zimmer eine Katastrophe! Alt und abgenutzt, die Decken hatten riesige Löcher! Die Wände so hellhörig dass man jedes Wort vom Nachbarn mithören könnte. Das ist kein Hotel was wir weiterempfehlen können."

Fine stay in Winthrop despite poor service

"Very relaxing stay - in se the hotel is very comfortable - pity that the service in the restaurant and at the reception was poor / that’s were as a guest you know you are not dealing with a family run hotel - staff is there to do the job and make money - restaurant food and service ia poor - hidden costs of 25 usd per day linked to „amenities“ which means you pay extra for the pool and the WiFi, independent if you use them or not. Poor communication at check out! "
