„Eigentlich eine Gaststätte mit Zimmervermietung. Mit hohem Aufwand renoviert und sehr gemütlich. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen.“

„Sauberes kleines Zimmer und Bad. Praktisch und kompakt.“

„Very helpful staff as we had to check in late, easy to reach via phone as well, useful booklet in the room and more info leaflets in the communal space.“

„Wenn man akzeptiert, dass der Vorhang auch bei geschlossenem Fenster wackelt, und sich warm anzieht, hat man ein stilvolles, typisch englisches Hotel mit sehr bemühtem Personal und hervorragendem Frühstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.“

„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„Claire was a gracious and helpful host who really went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.“

„The rooms are clean but I do feel it does need a bit of TLC or a quick makeover. The staff were helpful however did see much of them.“

„Ein wunderbar charmantes Hotel in idealer Lage. Vielleicht wäre ein bisschen mehr Liebe zum Detail angebracht, z.B. regelmäßig Duschgel auffüllen, täglich das Zimmer saugen. But all in all I had a delightful stay and will come again when visiting Scarborough. Thank you, Vicky and Steve“

„Nice breakfast choices and a cafteire of coffee“

The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it.“

„Horrific! Never Again - Filthy, Run-Down and Rude Staff We booked this hotel for a very special occasion - a wedding - and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of our trip. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a musty, dusty smell that made it hard to breathe. The bathroom was filthy, with visible rust and mold. The radiators were covered in thick layers of dust and grime, the furniture was damaged and stained, cobwebs were hanging from the windows, the door frames were ...

„The flat was in general very clean . However the sofa and cushions were a bit smelly , they could have done with a deep clean. There was everything we needed and it was central to everything. The host was lovely and very helpful.“
