„We absolutely loved our stay at Fernweh! The quiet, seclusion and peacefulness was just what we needed. Loved the hot tub while drinking my morning coffee and listening to the relaxing sounds of the river. The cabin has so much character and we also loved the beautiful sites, waterfalls and restaurants the area has to offer. Thank you!“

„My wife and I booked this stay because we have too many kids, and we needed to get away. This cabin has everything we needed for the perfect, quiet getaway. Our only regret is not staying longer. Lesson learned. We'll definitely see about a longer stay here, next time. On another note, whatever the housekeeper, Lisa, is being paid, she's worth it and more. This place was absolutely spotless. “

„This cottage is the perfect “home away from home”. It’s so homey and you instantly feel comfortable when you walk in. The view is spectacular!! We forgot to write in their review books on their counter but I suggest you read them!! They’re great!! And use the hot tub no matter the temperature outside…you won’t regret it!! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!“

„Everything was just right and beautiful. The view is worth it even if the cottage was not so well appointed making one feel welcome. I have been visiting Mentone for many years and this has been one of the memorable times. So grateful for the hosts making this property very special. “

„Comfortable nice cabin, great porchIt is on a hard curve so there is some traffic going by but very little. I would just be careful if you did bring a pet. There were deer in the morning which we loved. The river is accessible and if weather has been nicer I think we would have spent most of our time down there.“

„The cabin was private, peaceful, and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The check in was easy. We saw deer and loved the outdoor space & screened porch and front porch. It was such a nice peaceful getaway!“

„Great location. About 20 min drive into Chattanooga. Parking is tricky as it is not level. Downstairs bath sink could use a higher faucet as it was difficult to wash hands. Would be nice to have a hanging area or place to put suitcases in closet. Otherwise, treehouse is very nice, well stocked and aesthetically pleasing. Kids loved having their own space upstairs and loved the outdoor net area. Would definitely stay again. “

"Entgegen jeder Erwartung haben wir in Dalton ein sehr schönes aber etwas kleineres Hotel gefunden. Es ist praktisch neu und in sehr gutem Zustand. Scheint nicht zu einer Kette zu gehören, wahrscheinlich deshalb in top Zustand. Das Hotel würde ich in der Gegend auf jeden Fall wieder wählen."
