„On arrival we were told that VRBO "should have never allowed us to book". 20 minutes of waiting later, they told us it was their msitake and we did indeed have a room. The room itself had stained walls, food on the wall in the kitchen, paint spray spatter all over the kitchen appliances, no pans to use in the oven and dirty dishes in the cupboard. Breakfast is laughably bad as well. Old microwaved pork sausage and bagged eggs were the mainstay. We will never stay again. “

„This is a lovely little home, close to all DC amenities. It's much bigger than it looks on the outside. The owners have included everything you will need to make your stay pleasant. We traveled with an older relative who has trouble with stairs so this split foyer was great for her also. The neighborhood is quiet and great for morning walks or runs. If you need a place to stay in the DMV you should definitely consider this home.“

„This cottage was magical! The trails and wildlife on the property as well as the beautiful outdoor patio and fire pit to watch the sunset were so amazing! It’s centrally located to Skyline caverns, hiking trails,parks and canoeing. The wineries and breweries in the area were fantastic!We’rgrateful we code mint Cottage!“

„The home was very cute, clean and comfortable! Although we stayed just two nights and we were out and about most waking hours, it offered us all we needed and the owner Jennifer was quite responsive to our needs. Would love to return soon and do more ancestry exploring! “

„Very nice, quiet neighborhood in the hustle & bustle of the city. The house is wonderful and it's easy to access the bus and metro system. Great for day trips in and out of the city!! Parking in the garage is great!! Been was an amazing host!! I would recommend this house. “

„This was the sweetest cabin ever! David and Naomi are so kind and we loved meeting their adorable pups! Cannot recommend this enough!! Wished we could have stayed longer!! Prefect setting!“

„We visited in late May for a short family reunion of adults at this lovely historic home. Plenty of room for the 7 of us to sleep comfortably and gather in the living room or breakfast table & dining room. Easy walk to the downtown shops and restaurants and short drive to hiking areas or wineries. The home was appointed generously in regards to staples. Britt was incredibly responsive. The immediate grounds are landscaped wonderfully.I would comment that the exterior areas of patio or front ...

„Great stay and location. Jill is an excellent host. We requested to add an additional day and early check in and she was super accommodating. Only con would be the pump in the basement. We were there during torrential rains and the pump was somewhat noisy. “

There was plenty of room for everyone and the property was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all cooking amenities we needed. The washer and dryer were also very helpful for our group. Not familiar with the area, we weren’t sure what to expect. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Close proximity to everything we needed. Thank you! “

"Wir sind von diesem RC enttäuscht-kennen RC aus London und Berlin und hatten entsprechend hohe Erwartungen-Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht- bei beiden das gleiche Problem: durchgelegene alte Betten- dann wurden uns für die vorhandenen Mängel angeblich 2 x 40 Dollar Rabatt gewährt, auf der Kreditkarte wurden die Beträge dann aber doch abgebucht- das nenne ich Betrug "

"Das Hotel hat eine sehr günstige Lage zur Metrostation McLean. Ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg. Das nahegelegene Einkaufscenter Tysons Corner erreichbar und. Der Zimmerservice wurde täglich durchgeführt. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich. Mit der Zommerkarte konnte man problemlos im Parkhaus ein- und ausfahren. Die Parkgebühr betrug zu unserer Zeit 25 Dollar pro Nacht. Dazu kommen noch die Steuern. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder für einen Sightseeingaufenthalt in Washington DC buchen.Steuern."
