„We really enjoyed the host making our “check in” truly unique by sharing a lot of the history and character of your landmark home. We decided to skip the breakfast part of the Bed & Breakfast and enjoyed breakfast with “the locals” at “the Diner” recommended by our host. We really appreciated our host’s recommendations for a variety of quality “local” amenities. My wife raved about our “feather bed”again and again on our trip back home:-)“

„Better than the photos and description! The view and quiet are just what you need for a peaceful weekend. Watch the river slowly churn by and listen to the birds chirping in the surrounding forest. Located 15 minutes from Hermann and Washington, there's plenty to do. The owner was helpful and she made amazing breakfasts. The cabin has everything you need for a short stay. “

„My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and nice. By sheer luck we were able to get a bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Chris was a welcoming and responsive host. Breakfasts were on time and delicious. The house overall had a very pleasant vibe. And we were obsessed with the cats who were very well mannered themselves and didn’t smell at all. We like to take a break from using a car if possible on vacations so downtown and most attractions being within a few blocks ...

„Our host was easy-going when he greeted us at the door. The bed was very comfy, the room was quite large, and we loved being within walking distance of everything in Hermann. This place looks exactly like the guest bedroom your grandma's house. I wouldn't call the room secure (we never got an actual key for our room? maybe I'm too used to City Life!) Very quirky, this is not the place to stay if you need modern, updated accommodations. We had a great time exploring the town and would stay here ...
