„This was interesting. I mean, its a dorm room. It was kinda fun in a stripped down way. It had stuff that was a welcome surprise (kitchenette), and stuff that we usually see in hotel rooms missing like tv (do you really need one?). “

„Beautiful private island. Quiet location. All the amenities as described. Brand new dock and deck. Great bunkie for afternoon naps. Brilliant skies and morning sun on view. The bald eagle landed close to the cottage.Easy water taxi arrangement at J&G Marina.Would definitely return!“

„Staying in a cottage on a lake was a real treat compared to the usual highway hotels and motels. A nice deck for happy hour and there is a full kitchen and it was so nice to have a real oven to cook our take-and-bake pizza. We had trouble connecting to WiFi but the friendly host helped us out. The only complaint I have is that the shower head is mounted too high and cannot be adjusted. “

„Was a great vacation for our family of 9, house was clean and tidy with lots of space. Nice relaxing location, fishing was great. Weather was beautiful . Kids enjoyed every moment from lake life, fishing from the dock, to inside games , paddle boat, beach toys, kayaks. Nice to be walking distance to local grocery store, that had a great variety of goods. If there were any question or concerns hosts, John and Lana were just a phone call away. “

The space is not equipped with linens or towels, TP, coffee or potable water so pack up before arriving. A lovely wood fire sauna awaits with stunning Lake Superior as your cold plunge! “

„We had an amazing stay and Julie was a wonderful host. The house was beautiful and a great rental for a large group of adults! We had a friend with us that requires a walker and the house was very accessible for her to move around and go into the bathroom and get around easily. Julie was very friendly, she always responded very quickly and accomodated us and any requests we had. Definitely recommend staying here!!“

„The property here is lovely, peaceful, clean and relaxing. But what makes it special is the close proximity to the Host and her Family. The Host and her Family are caring, friendly and welcoming. They are also very good in their communication with their guests. The cabin is modest in terms of its size but it's absolutely beautiful with regard to its warmth, charm, atmosphere and cleanliness. It is a perfect retreat for two people. My husband and I loved our stay here. We are especially grateful ...
