„I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. „This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby ...

„Cabin right on the page was perfect. Lake is gorgeous. View is 180. Beautiful deck and furniture. Cabin is updated and lovely. Kitchen is nicely sized and very well furnished. Bathroom is also nicely sized and very nice. Living room is very comfortable, well sized, lots of windows, good tv... all good. Bedroom is small but very workable, bed is very comfortable. Host was very nice. “

„Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. “

„Great location...close to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Acadia National Park. Condo was clean. Check-in codes sent via email. No water views. No dishwasher. Laundry services available, but shared with other tenants. Unit sleeps four; however, with luggage, gear, etc. may be better suited for two adults. At times, airplanes may be heard flying overhead. Overall, though, I would recommend this unit.“
