Located 13 miles out of town, this beautiful property on the Nome River at the Comstock Dog Mushing Kennel features a spacious open concept 1 bedroom with a queen bed. This cozy open concept house has a sitting area, small kitchen and 1/2 bath. There is lots of natural light with blackout curtains for those long summer days that double as insulated blinds for those frigid winter nights. The private cabin with private entrance is all yours to enjoy. Feel free to walk over to the main house or message Tim or Burr. If you would like to meet the dogs and take a tour or a ride with them, reach out. Otherwise we'll let you enjoy the tranquility of Alaska. This cabin is located at our working Sled Dog Kennel. Situated next to the Nome river and surrounded by tundra and epic mountains, this getaway puts you right in the heart of the Alaskan Wild. Or you can arrange for Burr to meet you at the airport for a ride on the snow machine. We are fairly remote, you will need a vehicle to get to and from our cabin. And in the winter we walk the 1/4 mi from the road to the house. We can discuss pick up and drop off services for a fee if you prefer. So please reach out for any questions or special requests.
