„We arrived later in the evening than we had hoped. It was dark so we could not fully appreciate the beauty around us until morning. The camper was cozy and immaculate: Everything we could possibly need. Temps had dipped and they had it nice and warm for us. This was our first time EVER staying in a camper. Pleasantly impressed. We will definitely stay here again. “

„This cabin in the lake is a gem. It’s everything you need and super well equipped and organized. The owner was very responsive. It’s a beauty on the lake with a private dock, a beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, a picnic/grill area with table and chairs also overlooking the lake. „This was a family trip to visit family nearby. We stayed 2 nights, it was so relaxing. Sitting on the porch enjoying the river was our favorite part. The home was very clean and the hosts made everything so simple for check in and check out. I would stay here again when going to the area. Very easily slept 5, back yard was fully fenced for the kids, on a quiet country road. “

„We initially chose this property because it was a halfway meeting point for three couples. The accommodations exceeded expectations. The layout of the living room and kitchen provided a nice flow for all to hangout. We brought kayaks and bikes and spent time exploring the river as well as the local trails. „Easy access to shopping and grocery store. Comfortable surroundings. Beautiful nature and lots of birdsong. The chickens free ranging on the property is a plus. Love it! Highly recommend for small group of adults and maybe school age children. We were three adults. The bunk bed is a bit tricky on the top bunk for an adult. The queen bed is very comfortable.“

„Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! „The views from this home are stunning. We were in town for a week visiting our daughter who attends Radford University. The house is just about 30 minutes drive from the college as they are windy mountain roads but so worth the drive! The sunsets were amazing on the lake and it was relaxing and peaceful. The house is comfortably furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed with pots/ pans and dishes. It was a wonderful week!“

„We chose this rental because we could bring our dogs but we will be back because the place was terrific! The owners thought of everything, leaving us local coffee beans, dog treats, and ear plugs! The house is on a busy road but the back yard is fenced in and was perfect for our two fur babies. Cozy house that is close to great hiking trails. “

„My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.“
