„Really clean property, which was close the places we needed to be. Location is great and communication with the owners was quick. Nice shower - good pressure and nice and hot! Would return. “

„Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on.“

„Ideally situated for not just exploring the Wall but also for going North to Alnwick and the coast as well as central Newcastle. Very warm with plenty of hot water for bathed. Spar shop very close by selling most things including lids for stove. Hoste friendly and helpful. However, little privacy in front kitchen or outside. Views there but not as advertised.“

„A very comfortable retreat with great cooking facilities and a wonderful welcome pack and friendly hosts. A really great location for visiting sites around Northumbria and we were especially lucky in having dry warm weather.“
