„This is an exceptional cottage with lovely views of the lake. It's just a few minutes drive to Westport which has interesting shops and a good grocery store. The owner was so cooperative and easy to deal with that I have booked a time in June and can't wait to get back to this wonderful cottage. The only caution is that there are stairs to get to the lake which should be considered for someone with mobility issues. “

„Das Haus liegt direkt am See und bietet sehr viel Platz. Die KĂŒche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sogar ein GeschirrspĂŒler. Das Haus war nicht ganz so sauber, was vielleicht daran liegt, dass jeder Gast bei Abreise die Böden selber wischen soll. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Waschbecken im Keller Badezimmer sehr verdreckt, deswegen haben wir dieses gar nicht erst benutzt. Das Handbuch fanden wir sehr gut, da dort alles, was das Haus und den Aufenthalt betrifft, sehr gut erklĂ€rt ist. ...

„The rustic look and feel of the house was wonderful. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Also the games room in the basement is very nice to have. In particular we enjoyed the pool table. The location and property are very quiet which we appreciated. The town was small but we still had a chance to explore, and also enjoyed a hiking next to a waterfall about a 15 minute drive from the propery. Overall we had a good experience.“

„Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. “

„We were not there much because we had a family wedding on Saturday, but we did enjoy the peacefulness and the view of the lake as well as a well supplied cottage my only complaint was the coffee pot. It needs to have some vinegar run through it because it’s quite clogged up and took forever to make coffee other than that. Everything was great.“

„We were a large party of 15. There was ample room that no one got in anyone’s way. Soooo much for everyone to be entertained. Can’t swim off the dock but the use of kayaks etc was amazing. Game room was a hit as was the hot tub. Massage chair was amazing. Property was large and beautiful. Private spot so we didn’t need to be afraid that we were too noisy. Plenty of essentials provided for cooking. Very responsive host. “

„We had a beautiful few days. It was extremely hot outdoors in the sun but the shade from the trees, roofed back deck over looking the lake, two gazebos and enjoying the lake kept us comfortable and the multi-zone heat pump with indoor units in each room kept us cool inside. We enjoyed the stand up paddle boards on the lake and lazing on the dock Great cottage and yard. Hosts were very thoughtful, welcoming and responsive. Thank you! “
