„As a solo female traveller, I really like this hotel. It’s basic, but clean and friendly and I feel very safe. As it is a training centre, there are lots of groups of people, but also other solo travellers. I probably wouldn’t use this hotel for a socks trip, but for work it is ideal. Dinner and breakfast are good, it is a buffet style and included in the price. I like this a lot, as generally I will not have dinner alone, but here, it is perfectly acceptable to do so, without standing ...

„We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. We stayed with our new born and we were greeted with a lovely baby towel, wash and cot upon our arrival to the room. Our stay was peaceful and just how we wanted to see in our new year. Staff allowed us to order a local takeaway and eat in our room & provided cutlery when the food arrived. Breakfast was amazing and included various options. “

„Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover.“
