„Was a great house to host our annual golf outing. Plenty of room and location was just what we were looking for. Fire pit was nice as the weather was a little cooler than usual. “

„First time VRBO customer. Process for booking was easy, description of property was accurate. Communication with host was superb. Any issues we had were quickly taken care of. It was as you would expect a cabin to be: minimalistic. All flatware, cooking and BBQ utensils, pot, pan and baking sheet were provided. Pots are sized for cabins. If you intend to cook large group meals bring your own. Very close to water, kayaks & life vests available. Paddle boat available for use. “

„Our son graduated form MCO. He had to be on campus for the week prior. We chose to get the cabin so his father and I could have some family down-time before the ceremony. It was a perfect choice! very quiet and relaxing. Perfect for 3 adults. The view of the river is exceptional.“

„I spent a lot of time researching places to stay near family. We are elderly, there was no mention of no cell service or wifi. Only way we found VRBO, we had address. It's way out in the country. There was no instructions how to access wifi. I suggested to host how important that is. She said she would leave in future. We left as family, wouldn't be able to find us. „The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake.
