Nette Unterkunft, aber die Sauberkeit vor allem im Bad ist nicht so schön.

Im großen und ganzen hat alles geklappt, der Schlüssel war hinterlegt, es gab keinen Kontakt mit den Vermietern. Wir hatten Oktober, zwar gutes Wetter aber trotzdem schon frisch, vor allem nachts die dünnen Decken von denen es nur zwei gab (bei 4 gemeldeten Personen) haben hier nicht gereicht, wir haben etwas gefroren. Leider war die Sauberkeit vor allem im Bad nicht so gegeben, dort war auch alles sehr rostig und daran noch Staub oder Schimmel. Fazit wer eine praktikable Unterkunft sucht die preislich in Ordnung ist, ist hier richtig. nicht so gut. Die Wohnung war praktisch, es gab einen Hinterhof der nur zur Wohnung gehörte

The apartment is recommended

The photos already show the apartment. The big table, the big gas stove, the rooms. Everything is there to feel comfortable. What could be improved is that the number of plates is doubled and enough cutlery is provided. The street where the apartment is located is quiet and peaceful. The residents look at you with interest. We had a lovely, relaxing week in the apartment.

Etwas abgewohnt und wäre mit ein paar Reparaturen eine feine Wohnung ! Der Garten ist mehr ein Hof u leider nicht wirklich benutzbar da Sesseln dreckig u auch sonst nicht sehr gepflegt ! In der Nähe U-Bahn u City gut erreichbar!

Okay place if you spend most of the day in the city

I (from Switzerland) was visiting New York with my 15 year old teenager daughter. We used the place mainly just to sleep and for that it was okay. Nothing exceptional, but okay value for money. We were warned by local friends that the area is dangerous, but felt safe walking in and out of Harlem to the city as well as by tube at all times and had a really good time in NYC. Took a while to get the Wlan going due to a wrong password on the webpage, which should be corrected. Had no contact with the landlord, but chech-in and check-out worked well with key in the safe outside of the house.

Cons .. i am aware they dont have control of the outside but coming in late nite and seeing a huge rat running on the side walk was an epic fail for me .. also it was unfortunate where the towels were placed ( in one of the bedrooms) i didnt locate the towels until i was exiting and ending my stay . The ceiling in the smaller bedroom needs to be addressed ( possible previous leak) and finally maybe instructions on how to use the remotes for the air-conditioner would be helpful. Pros .. place was tidy ,access instructions was on point, and the place is spacious..

Great space in incredibly convenient location

AMAZING space! Was so excited to find a place with so much space and a fully outfitted kitchen! (Most places I stay have a decent kitchen, but no dishes or tools to actually USE the kitchen!) with so many things being so convenient, we were able to sleep lat, attend ALLLL the theatre, an then come back and make ourselves full delicious meals! Also, when there were concerns about the unit, they were PROMPTLY addressed and fixed! I highly recommend this property, but only when *I* don’t need it!

Perfectly comfortable

We stayed about a week and the location could not be beat. It is only about two blocks from the Red line, shops and lots of restaurants, too. The kitchen had just just enough for us to prepare a few simple meals ourselves then hang out on the big comfy couch. We did bring some of our own blankets and pillows--there were no extras. Nothing fancy, but overall nice and relaxing.

We loved everything about his home! It is charming and very clean and tidy. It is a cozy place to stay with a lovely outdoor area. It is near everything, and so walkable! This property is easily accessible by subway and Metro North trains. Whole Foods, CVS, etc are two blocks away. Friendly neighbors. While the neighborhood isn’t super clean and there are some folks around that appear unpredictable, we had zero problems even at midnight walking back with our teenagers. The unit itself is spacious. We arrived and the second bedroom had significant ceiling issues, with some corners crumbling plaster onto the bed. We texted and they sent someone to fix, which they did. But they didn’t clean up so we returned later that day and had to text again for a cleaning crew to come, which they did. It was quite frustrating. The back door has a flimsy poorly installed lock that I could break with a running start, so I’ve alerted the manager that it’s scary (and unsafe) for guests and needs upgrading. The kitchen has basic supplies, but we’re talking bare minimum. Four soup spoons - that’s all the spoons total. Two coffee mugs. You get the picture. Overall this place could be great but is poorly maintained. I would stay again if I were assured it’s in better condition.

The place was ok, my daughter caught an allergic reaction to something while we were there the first night. Before my husband went to sleep he was itching in his ENT, which is not common for him. Then I so happen to wake up out of my sleep and my ENT was itching really bad we all had to take an allergy medicine. Then we couldn’t figure out how to work the heat which I’m assuming we did do it right because it was controlled with these remote controls that I turned all the way up, but it was still cold throughout the night. Other than that the place is nice for a quick stay.

Perfect for us

For the price, this place was perfect. Close to a zillion amenities. We are not “city people” but we felt safe. It was the weekend so no problem with street parking. The host was extremely responsive, and went above and beyond. We had an issue which she addressed quickly, and the maintenance person was very professional. Kitchen is updated. We would like to stay again when we return.

This Brownstone was Every and More for Our 4 day stay. It is in walking distance to the historic Apollo, shopping and food! The owner responded immediately when contacted about our only issue, the tub knob came off. Needless to say, I would stay here again!!!
