There is limited free street parking on a first come first serve basis, but a lot of paid parking is available. The only FREE parking is street parking and depending on the time of day, street parking may be hard to find. Please note if you do park on the street you will have to follow street sweeping rules (which will be posted).

Our property is equipped with external security cameras to ensure guest safety. Rest assured, no cameras are present inside the apartment. Please also note that we have noise monitoring devices that do not record audio. Additionally, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers are provided for your safety.

Time Square/Hell's Kitchen is an amazing neighborhood. The best of the city! This is the epicenter of NYC. Trains, buses, and walk to anything you need within 5 minutes!

Hell's Kitchen, also known as Midtown West, is a neighborhood on the West Side of Midtown Manhattan in New York City. It is traditionally considered to be bordered by 34th Street to the south, 59th Street to the north, Eighth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. The area provides transport, medical, and warehouse infrastructure support to Midtown's business district.

Ninth Avenue is noted for its many ethnic restaurants. There are Caribbean, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Italian, Irish, Mexican, and Thai restaurants as well as multiple Afghan, Argentine, Ethiopian, Peruvian, Turkish, Indian, Pakistani, and Vietnamese restaurants. Restaurant Row, so-called due to the abundance of restaurants, is located on West 46th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

The neighborhood is a haven for aspiring actors. Many famous actors and entertainers have resided there, including Burt Reynolds, Rip Torn, Bob Hope, Charlton Heston, James Dean, Madonna, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, and Alicia Keys.

PARKING
We recommend not driving if possible as sometimes parking can be a challenge in NYC. There is limited free street parking but a lot of paid parking available. The only free parking is street parking and depending on the time of day, street parking may be hard to find. Please note if you do park on the street you will have to follow street sweeping rules (which will be posted).

LOCATION
We're located along 46th Street and 9th Avenue. I'm about 3 blocks (5-minute walk) to Times Square.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
You should take full advantage of the subway since it is so close and affordable. The nearest train stations are in Times Square on 42nd Street and 8th Ave (A, B, C, D, N, Q, R, S, W, 1, 2,3,7 Trains) at about a 5-minute walk from the apartment, or the C, D,E Trains on 50th Street and 8th Ave. for a 9-minute walk.

• ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT THE HOME:
- Location: The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with no elevator access. Access to the apartment is solely via the staircase.

- Baby Items: We have a pack-n-play available. This is subject to availability only and is made available upon request.

- Noise: Despite the serene location on a quiet street near Times Square, it's essential to note the potential for noise from the vibrant lounge/bar downstairs, along with occasional radiator sounds during the winter season.

- New York City Pests: Please be advised that it's very normal/common to see mice/rats in the streets of New York. Due to the continuing increase of the mice/rats problem in New York, (although rare to see one inside our apartment) we've also increased our efforts to help control them coming inside. Do note, that we have a bi-weekly exterminator who visits the apartment, which means this could happen during your stay.

- Visits and Unit Access: We will always notify you in advance should there be a need to access the unit and no one will ever enter without your approval. An exception is if there are fire or life-threatening situations in the building.
HOUSE RULES
Please make sure that you go through the house rules prior to booking. 

• PETS: Pets (dogs/cats) are allowed for an extra pet fee of $100 per pet with a combined pet weight limit of 30lbs and up to 2 pets only. The unauthorized bringing of pets will have a penalty of $300 which will go towards the deep cleaning of the property.

• CHECK-IN: Check-in time is after 4PM. Early check-in requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If we're able to accommodate an early check-in, there's an early check-in fee of $50 starting at 10 AM. Please check the availability of early check-in prior to booking.

• CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is before 11 AM. We do not allow late check-out as we schedule cleaning ahead of time. Any unauthorized late check-out will result in a charge of $50 for every 30 minutes.

• SMOKING: We do not allow smoking inside the property or in outdoor spaces including the balcony, backyard, and terrace (if applicable). There is a smoking fine of $300. 

• NOISE: Please observe quiet hours after 9PM. Please be mindful of the neighbors in the building. If the police are summoned due to noise complaints, this warrants a possible eviction with no refund.

• DAMAGES & LOSS: We would truly appreciate it if you could treat our home like yours.
