Perfect beach vacation and views

Absolutely loved our time at this home. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. The beds were comfortable and the views were beautiful. It was comfortable and homey and so relaxing. We will definitely be going back.

Great location and well equipped

The host was very responsive to all of our questions throughout the stay. Her property is in the very quiet end of NSB and she has a great big deck. You walk right onto the beach. The home is well equipped with everything you need.

Exactly What We Needed! To Get Away And Onto the Beach.

Tammy's house is exactly what we were looking for. A place to get away from it all and on the beach! The house comes with just about everything you will want or need. It's pretty much as the pictures show it. We had guests stay with us and they stayed in the lower unit completely separate from us (It has everything minus a kitchen) so they had all the privacy they wanted. The kitchen (upstairs) has all of the amenities that you would need to make your own meals, and that's what we did. As for the beach, except for the occasional walker, we pretty much had it all to ourselves and the weather was perfect! The waves were bigger than we expected (not surf-able, but there were waves!), but then Tammy has Boogie Boards in the garage, so we took advantage of that too! The ocean, looks murky by the shore, but if you are brazen enough, wade out to the sand bar at low tide and you will see that the water is actually very clear, just cloudy by the shore from the waves breaking. As for the bugs, I do have to warn that the Mosquitos and No-seeums are RELENTLESS and bug spray and protection is a MUST. Especially at dusk and evenings. Bottom Line, We had a wonderful time and I would stay here again!

The decks at this rental are amazing and offer a beach experience no matter whether one can walk in the sand or not. Views are spectacular. Accommodations are comfortable.

Roomy, comfy, and LOCATION!

Cute house, plenty of room for lots of people! Spacious sectionals in both the upstairs and downstairs for comfortable lounging. Lots of room on the huge deck, nice updated kitchen, and simply amazing views from the upstairs living area. Also has a really cool "study" room overlooking the beach and great sheltered area on the deck. Tammy is a pleasure to work with and VERY responsive.

Great family vacation

We had an amazing time staying at this property with our family. The house had everything we needed and was right on the beach for easy access. The beach was mostly private just how we like it. Would recommend to anyone seeking a beach getaway with their family and dislikes crowded beaches.

Can't beat these views!

My family and I had an amazing stay at this property! We coordinated a last minute trip and Tammy was so easy and helpful during the entire process. The house is directly on the beach with a beautiful deck looking right onto the beach and ocean..the views!! The house was equipped with everything we needed for the beach and our stay. Will definitely be back!

Our family had an amazing time at this beach house! It was perfect for our extendedfamily vacation!

This property delivered everything it stated and then some! My husband and I were able to share a once in a lifetime family vacation with our son, his wife and two kids and our daughter, her husband and their two kids!. We all had a wonderful time! It is close to so many of the attractions yet far enough away to have the privacy we all wanted. The house was well stocked, especially, with plenty of outside furniture and outside toys (important when traveling with kids)! From swimming with the waves, looking for dolphins, fishing, kayaking, visiting Disney, walking the beach collecting "amazing" shells, shopping and simply relaxing! This home had plenty of space that we did not trip over each other. When we wanted time together, we gathered in the main room upstairs or outside on the beach or amazing different decks. We also could easily find privacy in our own bedroom area complete with our own bathroom and decks on the front side of the house was awesome as well. While there are close neighbors, it seemed like we had the beach to ourselves! My granddaughter loves to fish and it was a short walk across the street to the inlet where the water was calm and we watched dolphins swim most nights! The variety of things to do was amazing! Something for everyone....and the neighborhood was very quiet and quite safe, which was important since traveling with the grandkids! Tammy was the perfect hostess, taking care of any of our many questions and inquiries. She never left us hanging, even when my daughter had questions about having amazon deliver a new pair of "crocs" to the house after a wave swept her 4 year old son off his feet and swept them out to the ocean on our first day! He says that wave was his most fun memory! I can't thank her enough for sharing her home with my family.....I will never forget the loving memories we made during this amazing vacation! Thank you Tammy!

Wonderful experience!

Property owner very attentive and nice. House right on the beach. It was a wonderful experience and we had a great time! We even saw a rocket launch one night because it is about 30 miles to the space center. The kids had so much fun!

Great family adventure

Lots of beach for miles. Great for swimming just watch for weather statements for rip tides any mile of the beach. Every afternoon Dolphins swam by in the bay across the street. When the waves were calm the Dolphins swim by as you watch the morning view. Open the patio wide and let the ocean breeze come on in. The only thing I'd recommend is a patio table for the upper deck to enjoy meals on the nice day. Of course this depends on the occupants putting it away in case of storms coming in or even turning it upside down so it doesn't catch wind. Lots of shops close by. Walmart being the furthest at 20 minutes but there are closer grocery/pharmacy stores 7 minutes away. Along with fast food, liquor, and dollar store with in 10 minutes. Daytona 30 minutes away with the worlds second highest sling shot ride (try it! fear of what could go wrong is your greatest enemy conquer it. We did). Or drive down to Orlando for the highest (expecting to hit 450 feet this summer). If you're looking for a place with your big family like us, this is a great place with more then enough space. It is a split level that we may have missed but it didn't matter because the cousins stayed down were it's like a separate place instead of cramping together. There were so many good choices we didn't know were to start regardless of Google. It was no help. Everything was a 4+ start rating except fast food which were 3+ I would like to ask anyone who chooses this great place to leave behind any menus you obtain in the area to help others choose without having to search. I only thought of this our last day so we only had on to share which was a smoked BBQ place but be careful it's all same day fresh so don't order to late or they will be out. I also don't recommend those fast food big name chicken places. We were disappointed in their lack of flavour. We enjoy leaving Canada for American food joints because they usually taste better but these two places have no flavour at all.

Amazing Views

This property has great beach access without any crowds. You can sit on the sofa and watch the waves breaking right in front of you! The decks and outdoor space are the best feature! Home is very clean and has a great kitchen. We brought a lot of our own items which really made things feel like home! Highly recommend this property as I’ve stayed in several!!

AMAZING beach vacation!!

Our family agrees that this vacation was one of our favorites by far! The house is right on a very quiet beach and the sand is beautiful! You can walk right out of the house, down the stairs and be on the beach! There is a public beach close by but we never saw more then a couple people there. The home itself is very nice. There are 2 separate levels so the downstairs is very quiet for those wanting to sleep in longer then the ones upstairs. Tammy has LOTS of deck chairs, beach chairs, and beach toys. We found everything in the house we needed to prepare meals and having the grill was very nice too. After only being at the house one day our family was already talking about renting it again in a couple years. One of our sons even said it has spoiled him for other vacations because it is such a nice relaxing setting. We have 3 married children, one single son, and one grand baby along with my husband and I and there was plenty of room for all. We happened to be renting as hurricane Dorian was threatening. Tammy was great about keeping in contact and keeping us updated. We had to do a mandatory evacuation by the county and cut our trip short a couple days and Tammy did a refund on those days right away. We can’t wait to stay in this home again for a family vacation. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants a quiet beautiful beach holiday!!!

Florida Getaway

We had a great time at the beach house. It was exactly as described. Tammy was very quick and through with communications. The house was equipped with everything you need including items for the beach. The view was excellent. Only a few steps down to the beach from the deck. A few things to consider: when planning activities, you will need to travel north a ways to catch the main road for activities south of the house so plan accordingly. If you have little ones watch areas of the deck some portions are open to the rocks below and could make for a nasty fall ( nothing a travel play pen wouldn't solve, which Tammy has at the house), and lastly, the downstairs area can only be accessed from outside. It seemed a little odd but our group was fine with it. It gave more privacy for the group. Beautiful peaceful location! Norwoods Treehouse seafood Restaurant was our favorite. Daytona Beach Parasailing and CFL Fishing Charters are highly recommended too!

Enjoyable family beach vacation

Location, location, location. Beautiful area of very private beach. The owner is great with communication along the way and during the stay. . .A+ Rooms and beds were as described. Very comfortable beds. I would have appreciated thicker pillows, however. No issues whatsoever with technology. Appreciated the bigger screen tvs for those rainy times! The kids loved the bunk room. We did all learn about the no-see-ums in Florida. We got hit pretty hard. But, even that did not stop us from having the vacation we were all hoping for. JB's Fish became our daily journey--right down the street. Delicious and reasonably priced. We all had a great time!

Great Time

Had great time, only about thirty steps to the beach. Had sunshine every day and only 1 rainstorm the last night before leaving. Would recommend, just take bug spray just in case. Only the last two days got swarmed by no see ums. Property owner had sprayed and sprayed again after I made her aware.
