Wurthmann House Unit #1 Your Home Away From Home

The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored two bedroom suite upstairs features chestnut window and floor trim, hardwood floors, locally-made Amish furniture, and beautiful views of historic downtown Berlin.

Had a relaxing stay as usual but wish weather was more cooperative as we love the balcony in evenings. So sweet leaving us a cake it was delicious. Everything is thought of and beautifully decorated but as I get older have to watch the tub. Would be nice to have a bathmat for tub gets a little slippery. What is the name of body wash you have in tub it made my skin so soft. Your place is my favorite to stay. God bless!

Wurthman House was absolutely perfect. It's one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The location, decor, outdoor patio area, and host are all perfect. When I notified Robert that the coffee maker wasn't working, a new one was delivered promptly. I highly recommend staying at Wurthman House when visiting Berlin.

I and my two best girlfriends traveled to Berlin for a short stay that made a lasting memory. My ladies were visiting for the first time and.we.stayed at Wurthman House for the first but not the last time. We had a 3 hour plus drive that we filled with chats and laughter. Traveling to our destination on the back roads on 36 was filled with beautiful scenery and small town travel in the slow lane. Our group thanks you for providing our "home away from home"!

This apartment was absolutely precious!! My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer this trip!! We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to stay here again! Every little detail of the place is beautiful!! The hosts are so sweet and so quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. Everything was so nice and so adorably decorated! We loved this place! It’s truly a home away from home, somewhere where you can relax with plenty of space right in the heart of Amish country. The location couldn’t be better. This spot is charming, convenient, and thoughtful. Easy communication with the owners and easy entry. Assigned parking is about a fifty foot walk to the door. We will definitely be back!

This is our 4th year staying for a long weekend with friends. The location is right in the center of town, where most shops are in walking distance. It is very clean and comfortable.

My husband and I have stayed here many times over the past couple years and we no longer stay anywhere else when we go to Amish Country. It is situated in the middle of town right on Main Street in Berlin and right next to the most popular restaurant in Amish Country Boyd’s and Wurthmann. If you’re shopping and your hands are full simply open the downstairs door and put your packages in the entryway and you’ll be on your way again. There is a large deck with table and chairs to relax after your adventures.You could not ask for a better place to stay. We love it. Robert and Connie are the perfect hosts. They have thought of everything!! Can’t wait for our next adventure!!

Love this property. We stayed in room one. This will be our go to accommodation when we stay in the Berlin area. Extremely comfortable living area and bedrooms. Very, very clean. They have a knack for small welcoming details which made our stay away from home, like home.

We have been to Holmes County many times and have stayed at a variety of places. Our stay here was amazing. The location was perfect! We loved the aesthetic of the property as it felt so comfy! Super comfortable beds as well. We will be back again!
