Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the apartment.

Algiers Point keeps a slower rhythm than the rest of New Orleans - quieter streets, a genuine neighborhood feel, and a riverfront that turns golden at dusk. This ground-floor studio loft drops you right into it, with local cafés and the Mississippi just a short walk from your front door.

Living space
The open layout makes the most of natural light, creating a relaxed atmosphere that balances historic character with everyday comfort. A 65" Smart TV comes loaded with Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix - plenty to settle into on a quiet evening. When you'd rather set the mood yourself, spin something on the vintage record player. A dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi keeps you connected if you're blending work with travel. Central air conditioning, central heating, and a ceiling fan ensure the space stays comfortable whatever the weather.

Sleeping arrangements
A king bed dressed in fresh linens sits at the heart of the sleeping area, with extra pillows, blankets, and room-darkening shades to help you sleep in as long as you like. Clothing storage - both a closet and dresser - keeps you organized throughout your stay.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook at your own pace: a Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, hot water kettle, toaster, blender, baking sheet, and coffee maker (with coffee provided). Cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and a dining table round it out for everything from a quiet breakfast to a proper dinner in.

Bathroom
The private bathroom includes a stand-up shower, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hot water. Fresh towels are provided, along with a washer and dryer so you can pack light if you're staying longer.

Practical extras
Self check-in via smart lock means a flexible, hassle-free arrival. Free parking is available both on premises and on the street. Exterior security cameras are in place at the entry door for added peace of mind. A laundromat is also nearby - handy for longer visits. Pets are welcome.

Neighborhood
Algiers Point is one of New Orleans' most walkable and characterful neighborhoods. Step out to grab coffee at a local café, pick up tacos at Barracuda, or wander down to the riverfront to catch the sunset. The $2 ferry makes it easy to reach Bourbon Street, the Frenchmen Street jazz clubs, and all the seasonal events the city is known for - Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, Bayou Boogaloo, and more are all within easy reach.
