Although centrally located in Mid City, this property is directly on the streetcar line on world famous Canal Street. There are five large bedrooms for your group to spread out across; two on the main level and three upstairs. Each bedroom has a Smart TV, personal bathroom and closets along with original features with New Orleans-inspired décor

DOWNSTAIRS:
The primary suite downstairs (Canal Street Room) is located on the main floor and boasts a king-sized bed, a 55” flat-screen Smart TV and a private ensuite bathroom tucked away behind French doors. This beautiful full bathroom features a walk-in shower, two separate vanities, makeup vanity and a luxurious soaking tub beneath a stained glass window. A spacious closet offers plenty of space to unpack your belongings.

The second bedroom downstairs (Napoleon Street Room) boasts a plush king size bed, a 50” Smart TV and includes a separate closet for storing belongings. A full bathroom including a walk in shower is right outside the bedroom door which is also used as a common bathroom.

UPSTAIRS:
The primary suite upstairs (St Charles Street Room) is located at the end of the hallway and boasts a king-sized bed, a 55” Smart TV and a private ensuite bathroom. This beautiful full bathroom features a walk-in shower, double vanity, and a luxurious soaking tub beneath a stained glass window. A spacious walk in closet with full length mirror offers plenty of space to unpack your belongings.

The second bedroom upstairs (Decatur Street Room) includes a king-sized bed, an antique dresser, and a 50” Smart TV. Also included is a private ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower and a walk in closet for all your personal belongings.

The third bedroom upstairs (Magazine Street Room) features a king-sized bed, an antique dresser, and a 50” Smart TV. Also included is a private ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower and a walk in closet for all your personal belongings.

Upstairs also has a full Game Room including a ping pong table, video games, 65" Smart TV and a nostalgic jukebox that is "Bluetooth" so you can play all your personal tunes. A refrigerator with sink/countertop is also close at hand. Directly off the game room is the large balcony with rockers that overlooks the streetcar passing by on Canal Street.

All bathrooms are stocked with premium Ginger Lily Farms toiletries for your convenience.

The fully-equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a commercial gas range, microwave, blender, crock pot and all the dishes, cookware, and utensils you need to cook delicious meals during your stay. There is also a separate wine bar and full coffee bar which includes a drip, French press, frothier, hot tea and syrups.

The large kitchen island has seating for four and there is also a separate dining area with seating for eight. If you prefer to dine alfresco, there is also outdoor tables and chairs on the rear covered deck with seating for eight.

The den sits directly across from the kitchen and features two cozy couches, a plush chair, and a wall-mounted Smart 65" TV.

The home features a balcony, a front porch, and a rear deck. These areas are perfect for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or simply grabbing a moment of privacy from your group and watching the streetcars go by. There are multiple seating areas, and the rear deck has a large dining table with seating for eight and Cornhole ready for playing.

Once you’re ready to explore New Orleans, you’re just minutes from five-star restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and other major attractions.

As a guest, you’ll have exclusive access to the entire house, porches, balcony, and rear deck. Feel free to make use of the washer and dryer, fast Wi-Fi, and full kitchen. There is also one off-street parking space in front of the home that has enough room for a vehicle no larger than 17 feet (sorry but city law states can't block the sidewalk) If needed, additional FREE parking can be found on the street.

GREAT neighborhood feel with a mix of residential and commercial properties directly on Canal Street. Centrally located to all the "Hot Spots" with easy access to the streetcar. You're literally just minutes away from excellent restaurants, the French Quarter and Convention Center.

This property is literally directly in front of the streetcar (trolley) line. A bus stop is also just steps away that will bring you directly to any of the hot spots in the city. To ride a streetcar or bus, you would simply purchase a pass (see prices below). You can also transfer back and forth from streetcar to bus to reach your destination if needed.

Of course, you can always take an Uber or Lyft as well.

This VRBO was Perfect for our Family!

Your house was perfectly suited for our family of 5 siblings and spouses. Very comfy king-size beds, private baths, (we loved the showers), beautiful kitchen including all the utensils needed to make meals and heat up leftovers. The open concept living room, kitchen and dining area was very comfortable. The porches were wonderful with tables, chairs and rockers. We also enjoyed the artwork and musical instruments in the decor. Good location in the big city with easy access to the streetcar. We all thought this was the best VRBO we've ever stayed at and give your rental 5 stars!

Best Vacation Home Ever

From the moment we laid eyes on this elegant manor our family’s vacation became magical. There really is no other way to say it … there were 9 of us. My husband and I with 7 adult children. The home was luxurious, beautifully decorated, and spacious. Spotlessly clean with every possible convenience. Even complimentary snacks, sodas, and waters. My bathroom was fabulous with a huge tub (with a gift of a lavender bath bomb),and a rainfall shower. Our kids each had their own room and bathroom upstairs. My daughter glommed the second bath tub as quickly as an Olympic sprinter!!! There was a game room up there and jukebox too! A second area with a fridge for drinks, snacks, and water. Most importantly every place in this home was artful and visually appealing. My husband and I kept talking about the painstaking renovations done on this old manor, only to find it was built 1 year ago! What an immense effort was made to stay true to a historical old New Orleans home! Lastly, location, open your door, and jump on to the street car which will take you in minutes to the French Quarter. It was a 10 minute walk to City Park and Cafe Du Monde for coffee and Beignets Edward, the creator and owner of this beautiful home, was Quickly responsive whenever he was needed. There is so much to say, but surely saying my entire family is wrecked to be back to our sunny lovely home in Florida. I would go again today if I could… if you book …, Bon Voyage my friends and Happy Mardi Gras!!!!!
