Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
I truly wanted to enjoy my stay, especially being in a city as vibrant as New Orleans, but unfortunately this condo fell well below basic expectations for comfort and upkeep.
The bathrooms were the most concerning. The tubs were visibly aged, one was chipped, and the shower heads were rusted. The ceiling and corners around the tub were cracked, which made the space feel neglected rather than simply “lived in.” Cleanliness and maintenance in a bathroom are non-negotiable, and this unit did not meet that standard.
The main living area also showed wear that should have been addressed. The primary couch had a noticeable stain, and one of the bedroom windows was cracked. Ventilation throughout the unit was poor, which made the space feel stuffy during the stay.
Beyond the unit itself, the building’s common areas were disappointing. The hallways, lobby, and elevator areas had unpleasant odors that were hard to ignore. The fitness room appeared dated, with rusted equipment that was barely functional.
New Orleans deserves accommodations that reflect its charm and energy. With proper maintenance, cleaning, and investment in updates, this property could improve significantly. In its current condition, however, I would not recommend it
