The unit was very clean and well maintained. The A/C worked fine. Very similar to a hotel experience but more affordable. The check in process is automated and the access PIN will not work minutes early - it has to be exact check-in time. The unit came with all the essentials to get you started. The ground floor units do not have any windows whatsoever - the single window we had was frosted over for security. This was a little strange to get used to, but you are really only there to sleep. We could not get any streaming service to work with the TV (and we don't subscribe to live streaming channels). Didn't try a movie stream. The walls can seem thin and upstairs noise can be heard easily. This could be a problem in terms of noise from people arriving very late at night (and after being on Bourbon Street). The location is great. Bakery, diner, drug store and all else is very close. Walking distance all around the French Quarter. The coffee and cocktail bar is a nice added benefit. Departure instructions could have been sent (much like the arrival) or left on the refrigerator, so we had to search for them. With that being said, the departure was very basic. The pool deck was very clean but had no shade. The pool is all stainless and small but just enough to cool off. Roof deck was nice for watching the city lights. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. The only surprise was lacking a useable window and occasional noise from party groups.
