Nice motel

it was a nice over night stay and a get away with the kids😁 things were handy and a lot within walking distance.

Cheap place to stay

Was as expected for price range and would stay again, staff was great and friendly. Place is old and dated, had newer TV and a bar fridge and microwave. Brown water at first but cleared up quick probably just vacant for a while, place looked and smells clean though. Furniture was old and dated, bed was comfortable. They are close to lots in Truro so central and have a small lounge with live music sometimes and a Thai place attached to them.

Very clean room, very pleasant staff, close to many ammenities & a great location to travel from to go whale watching

Préfère dormir dans auto plutôt que d'y retourner.

Malpropre rare. Manquais des serviettes, nous on mis des sales et tachées! Très épaisse poussière partout. Coulisse dégueulasse dans douche, bref insalubre! Faut voir pour le croire.

Hotel is in the center of town

I believe there was smoking in this room. Air freshener was used to masked the this. When we showered the dampness exposed the nicotine on the bathroom ceiling.

We were given a dirty, stinky, rundown smoking room when we booked a non smoking room. We were charged $8.50 per night because we booked online. The bed and sofa were dirty and sagging. The air conditioner and bathroom fan were coated in dirty scum. The plumbing banged in the walls every time the room above us flushed the toilet. All the power in our room went out when we tried to use the microwave. Their suggestion to us once it was reset was to not use the microwave.

Never again

I cannot see me ever staying here again. The room was not clean. The second day the room was not serviced which happens I understand that but when I called to the office to ask for towels because we had no clean towels and toilet paper, four towels and two rolls of toilet paper were brought to the room. Keep in mind there were four of us staying in room and I guess they felt the two towel standard was good enough( two hand towels and two regular size towels). That's not the worse part, two out of the four towels they brought to the room were dirty. One had makeup smear on it while the other had a yellow crusty substance along the corner. I fear she may have just grabbed them from another room but I am not sure. This was at 8 pm and I went to the desk instead of calling to explain what had happened and I very nicely asked for two towels to take a shower....the receptionist could barely understand what I was saying (since ENG was apparently not her primary language). They never brought the towels and I left the next morning not able to have any shower. I am extremely disappointed in this hotel and will never stay there again.

Terrible, outdated , and dirty.

Bed is uncomfortable, bathroom os dirty, carpets are dirty. Whole place a disaster.

I was attending a nearby event and that hotel was fully booked. The Stonehouse provided a clean comfortable bed in a convenient location. The bathroom is in serious need of renovation.

Convenient, but could have been cleaner and more modern. TV didn't work, nor did the cold tap in the shower. Water was scalding hot, so it wasn't possible to take a shower. Reception staff a bit stand-offish and not overly friendly.

Stop over on our way home !!

The room was ok, however there was no clock, and no outlet in bathroom for grooming. The great thing was the restaurant on site, great Tai food, and the waitress was friendly and helpful!!! If you're in the area I would definitely recommend eating there !!

it needs to be updated

the room needs to be updated, the key didn't fit all the way in keyhole, door frame was cracked as if there was forced entry. The room had an aweful smell to it. Staff was good enough to give us our money back.
