„The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. „This exact property is not available to rent, however it is still on the website and is able to be paid for. We did not know this until check-in and realized we never received a code to get in. It was only when we called the number attached to this property is when we found out that it is not supposed to be available. „I was very impressed with this "hotel". It is more of an AirBB as your unit is an apartment in an apartment building with permant residents. It comes nicely furnished, including basic kitchen essentials (like service for four, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc). All of the amenities are modern, and the in-unit washer dryer is a huge plus. I also really appreciated some of the welcome gifts, including some coffee/tea, laundry detergent, and your basic hygiene essentials.

„The place was a great base for us when we visited family in NJ and NY. Super clean, very comfortable beds, and easy parking and check in. One bedroom and bathroom are in the basement, in case anyone in your party is mobility limited. The upstairs neighbors do make a little normal noise, sometimes later at night, so maybe bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper. “

When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. „I believe it's the furnished basement of the house with its own entrance. There's a bedroom, sitting area, bathroom/shower, A/C, microwave, mini fridge, iron, TVs. It's nothing fancy but was suitable for my needs (a decent place to sleep and shower).
It's in walking distance of several stops along the North-Metro railroad, Target, the shopping mall, and Sarah Lawrence College. Convenient location to everything I needed since I didn't have a car.

„This place was just want we wanted.. a place close but far from the city for us to get to everyday. We drove into the city 30 mins or less. Shopping center and supermarkets nearby. Nice neighborhood. Had 2ft unit and top floor. "Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. Even though the location is outside of Manhattan, the metropolis can be reached within 30 minutes by train. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The breakfast is typically American. Wholemeal rolls or wholemeal bread, cheese and sausage were missing, which is standard in Europe. A small addition would be recommended here.
A clear advantage is the shopping mall around the hotel. Food such as water, sweets etc. can be bought in the nearby supermarket.
Compared to Manhattan, the quiet location is simply fantastic for unwinding after an exciting day in big apple.
I am simply happy to be able to stay in this hotel. Gladly again :-)"
