I'm only giving 2 stars because I didn't meet everyone and our room was clean upon arrival. I didn't get names but the overnight front desk lady was great, everyone else we dealt with was rude and derelict in their duties.
We had 1 towel upon arrival which I didn't notice until the next day getting out of the shower. Maids never came or gave us towels. The front desk said they couldn't help that evening because they were locked up. I had to get them the following morning and one of them was covered in brown streaks.
We got locked out of our room on one of the days and it took several trips to the front desk for a remedy. Each time I returned (w/in 2 mins of each other) the clerk asked me if I was there to check in like she hadn't just spoke to me. Long story short, both the maid and maintenance man was sent to our room separately to let us in/fix it and both separately lied about going to our room and then the maid was very rude to us about it. We waiting in the hallway for her so she couldn't have come without us noticing. The maintenance man claims he came and opened the door later. We were in the room waiting for him so that's impossible.
It's not a huge deal but shower had very little water pressure.
Also, if you care, this location doesn't have a bar.
I rarely leave reviews good or bad but this trip was very disappointing ! I have always loved Holiday Inn Express but things have changed including the look. I definitely will not be going back!!!!
