3/2.5 home. Sleeps 10. Master: King, Full. 2nd bedroom: 2 Twins. 3rd bedroom: 1 Twin Trundle and 1 Full. No Pets Allowed. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. In addition, the electronic rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in.

THE LAKE IS BACK, the damn has been repaired. Current pictures taken March 2024.

Beautiful newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath in a quiet residential home on Lake Dunlap (the dam broke in May 2019 so the lake is low but good news, the dam has been repaired and the lake is expected to fill up by Summer 2023, at which point the lake will be more conducive to swimming). Photos taken March of 2020 reflect the water level at that time. The dock is also a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or your morning coffee. There is also a canoe for your enjoyment! This home is only 5 miles to downtown New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn and the Comal River!

Unwind in the comfortable living room with Free WIFI and Roku TV (no cable). Fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. Dining table with seating for 6. There are 4 bar stools at the kitchen island. Half bathroom conveniently located off the kitchen. The master bedroom has a king bed, double bed and Roku TV and en suite bathroom with stand up shower. Upstairs there are 2 additional bedrooms and a lovely coffee nook station with a Keurig so you do not have to down stairs for that first cup! There is a balcony upstairs to have a glass or wine or your morning coffee and breathe in the fresh air while enjoying the lake views. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds and the other bedroom has a full bed and a twin trundle bed. Both bedrooms have a Roku TV. There is a guest bathroom with walk in shower conveniently located between the 2 guests bedrooms. This house sleeps 10 but you are welcome to bring an air mattress to accommodate 2 more guests. Never to exceed 12 guests total. This property has room for 3-4 vehicles.

The back deck is the place to be with seating and a charcoal grill. The back yard leads to the dock, the back yard has a fire pit (firewood not provided) and is a great place for star gazing. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property.
NO Smoking, NO parties. NO pets. No trailers, campers or RV's allowed. No portable grills or open flames. Family friendly home with no tolerance for bad behavior. This house has a maximum occupancy of 12 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

Clean, spacious, and perfectly located! Quick trip to the river chute and downtown shopping and eats! Backyard view of the river was stunning and we loved spending time in the kitchen! Heads-up for soft bed lovers…the main bedroom mattress was very firm. Still a great time and house!

Good communication. Easy check in through text. The house was so lovely and clean, beautiful backyard deck to sit and look at the sparkling lake. We had a great time! We checked in around 4pm Friday. Hung out on the lake for a bit, we tied floats to the dock. We didn’t feel like cooking so had pizza delivered. Saturday we went to the farmers market in San Marcos then ate lunch at Ivar’s river pub which had a great view of the river and the food was yummy. Then we spent the rest of the day hanging out on the lake behind the house and made fajitas on the grill for dinner. Sunday we floated the river then came back and made s’mores. We had no issues during our stay. Truly had a wonderful time with friends!

Christmas Holiday

I love staying at this house. It had plenty of room for our large family. The house was very clean. The property was very well manicured. Enjoyed having the water right outside the house. We stayed here for a Christmas holiday and they even decorated the house for us. Would stay here again.

Great Location

Overall the property offerings were great for our family. We enjoyed access to the river for swimming and canoeing, close driving distance to attractions like the natural bridge caverns, and enough space for our family of 9. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the property. We found that our bed sheets were not clean (hair, grass, dead bugs, and other particles covered the sheets, most surfaces where coved in dust and many spiderwebs, and the hall leading to the upstairs balcony had leaves and dirt on the floor and doormat. In the kitchen a number of the cups and dishes had a greasy film on them. The management company did offer to have someone come out to change the sheets but we had already unpacked and did not feel comfortable with someone going into the property while we were away. We would recommend this property but encourage the property managers to ensure the property is properly cleaned before guests arrive.

Weekend getaway

This property is so cute! We loved hanging out on the lake. They had plenty of things to keep us entertained. Love that the owners provided lots of water activities Ex: slip and slide, tubes, life jackets, canoe, and my kids LOVED the floating foam mat/lily pad. The kitchen is awesome! Lots of room for cooking. And we loved the giant walk in showers. Very nice property. Would love to visit again!

Team Retreat

Hosted a team retreat at the property & we loved every second of it. It rained majority of the time we were there, but that is the season we are in! The views of the river were amazing, the communication with the host was perfect, timely and so accommodating. Lots and lots of beds in this property!

Beautiful House!

We had a fantastic vacation with friends at this property! The house and linens were very clean and in good condition. Loved using the fire pit in the evenings and the access to the water was right there. The only thing I would have asked for were steps leading from the side of the lawn down to the concrete ramp (that slope was a little steep) and a small first aid kit to be available. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Meh...

This home was just ok. We really thought the river would be a better amenity, but it wasn’t. It’s just not a great location for tubing or swimming, which is why my family would be close to the river. That was kinda disappointing. The house was below par also. Needs updating. The beds and bedding need updating. Other than that, the place was pretty good and the owner came by the morning after the flood to check on us, which was really nice.

Very Nice Property!!!

Great property. 3 beautiful rooms with great beds, bathroom facilities, and the AC works very well. Cozy little backyard right off the river with great back porch seating. Firepit was a huge plus. 2 grills that provided all we needed. Just a few miles from great restaurants, Texas Tubes, Rockin R, Gruehne Hall, and all the area has to offer. Great stay. Highly recommend this place if you are taking your family or friends to the river.

Super cute house in a great location

We rented this property for a girls trip weekend of shopping in New Braunfels. House was super cute and clean. It was nicely decorated. The fire pit is awesome at the end of the day! It was winter so we didn’t get in the river or use any of the water equipment. I would definitely stay here again. It is probably better for friends not couples since the rooms all have two beds in them.
