"We wanted to escape the heat and also use a Hotels.com reward night (although we still had to pay 80 + 25 for our dog for the 160 CHF standard room) at the end of July. The staff was friendly and when we asked whether there is surely an aircon, since it was under the roof, they went somewhere to confirm and said "Yes the room has aircon". Well, the room did not have aircon! They had removed the remote. It was not super hot in the room, but we were not happy. We were also not happy to find trash under the bed (bad cleaning!) and that the minibar wasn't on (we needed the "fridge" for fruits). We were given a better room, but they said they have a problem with the aircon. Just so you know: THEY DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. However, the room was still fine and not too hot. Surprisingly, the baths were also really nice and refreshing even though it was 34 C outside and the baths are all 30 C+. I would absolutely not recommend it for the full price though."

"Wer alleine in Zermatt günstig übernachten will, kommt wahrscheinlich zwangsläufig auf das Hotel, was aber in meinen Augen eher ein Hostel ist. Ich hatte ein Bett ganz oben unter dem Dach im 6er Schlafsaal. Die einzelnen Kojen bieten einem noch ausreichend Privatsphäre, dazu gibt es ein kleines Schließfach, das mit der Schlüsselkarte funktioniert. Hostel-like gibt es verschiedene Gemeinschaftsräume wie Küche, Aufenthaltsraum, Duschen, Toiletten, etc. Private Räume gibt es auch aber ich habe das Geld in Zermatt lieber in Seilbahnen investiert. Alles ist top gepflegt und sehr sauber! Die Lage ist auch ideal. Wenn man mit dem Shuttle ankommt, geht man nur über die Straße und ist schon da. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ich nur ein paar Schritte weg."
