    Absolut das Beste in jeder Hinsicht ... Lage, malerische Aussicht und Preis. Dieser Rückzugsort in den Bergen befindet sich im Herzen der Colorado Rockies (mehr als 14.000 Berge hier als anderswo in Nordamerika) und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge in alle Richtungen und die besten Aussichten auf die berühmten Chalk Cliffs.

    Mit Blick auf & am Ufer des schönen Chalk Creek mit raumhohen Fenstern gebaut. Genießen Sie die Schönheit (großartig) und Geräusche der Natur (sprudelnder Bach unten), beobachten Sie die Wildtiere (Hirsche, Elche, Füchse), wandern Sie oder sitzen Sie auf der 40-Fuß-Veranda und wickeln Sie sich um die Veranda. Die große, abgeschirmte Veranda eignet sich auch hervorragend zum Essen im Freien und zum Entspannen.

    Dies ist eine warme und wunderbar gebaute Unterkunft mit allem Komfort und allen Annehmlichkeiten (vielleicht mehr) von zu Hause. Mit 3 Vollbädern und 6 separaten Waschtischen wird jeder untergebracht.

    Mt. Ralphmore ist nur 15 min entfernt. & 23 min. jeweils von den historischen Städten Buena Vista und Salida, wo Charme, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Galerien im Überfluss vorhanden sind!

    Der San Isabel National Forest, St. Elmo (berühmte Geisterstadt und großartiger Ort, um die Chipmunks zu füttern oder Jeeps / Schneemobile zu mieten), Mt. Princeton Hot Springs (Colorados heißeste Quelle) und der Arkansas River (großartiges Rafting oder Fliegenfischen) sind hier in Ordnung.

    Monarch, Ski Cooper & Copper Ski Resorts sind alle 35-45 min. weg, wie es Leadville ist (viel Geschichte dort). Breckenridge ist etwas mehr als eine Stunde und Vail ist 1 Stunde. & 30 Minuten. Das Hotel liegt 145 km von Colorado Springs entfernt und bietet eine einfache An- und Abreise.

    Viele Aktivitäten das ganze Jahr über zu genießen. Der beste Ort, um eine Familie, einen Freund, eine Pause und einen Urlaub zu nehmen!

Perfect Family Getaway

This property was better in person than the listing! Had a little of everything!...from the views, the beautiful setting by the creek, wildlife to the convenient location to hiking, Salida and Buena Vista! Perfect location for a week with our family!!

Wow!

A wonderful location to do lots of adventures, including just staying put with a morning coffee out on the deck and an evening campfire down by the river to end our day.

Had a great stay at this property in Nathrop! The home had everything we needed to relax and enjoy one another's company. Would highly recommend this for family get together's.

Check in was super easy. Lots of bedrooms to sleep our 9 people. Beds were comfortable enough. Games and movies were available, but we had brought our own. Fire pit was nice to sit around and being right next to the river was very beautiful! Plenty of pots and pans and sets of dishes.

Great house that can accommodate a large group. Very homey with great views of Chalk Mountains and Chalk Creek. Kitchen has almost everything one needs but would suggest adding cloth napkins and having soap and more TP in bathrooms. Other than that it was well stocked and we greatly appreciated having refrigerator and dry good basics on hand. Highly recommend the property.

Creekside retreat

This was our 4th time to stay at this lovely cabin. Love the views and proximity to BV and Salida. House was well equipped and very comfortable. All around a 5 star rating!

Sweet sweet sweet

Perfect amount of relaxing spaces. We were thrilled with all of the activities in the area. Swimming, hiking, fishing all fun. We loved this precious home! It was so perfect we’re hoping to return someday.

Creekside Cabin

Beautiful property located just minutes from Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort and just a short distance to the St. Elmo Miners Loop ATV/Jeep trails! You can also just enjoy the property, fresh mountain air, scenery, and creek right from the deck or creek side. Highly recommend this property!

Creekside Haven

Beautiful home in a quiet area situated on Chalk Creek. Views of the Chalk Cliffs from the home were amazing. We enjoyed fishing in the backyard, as well as nearby hiking, hot springs, and touring the local fish hatchery. Side trips to Buena Vista and Salida rounded out our weekend. We would definitely stay in this home again.

Wonderful setting right on Chalke Creek

The property had a very nice fire ring and chairs right along the creek. We saw quite a few deer wonder by. The location was great as we wanted to be near MP hot springs. The bed arrangement isn’t great for adults, but better suited for a lot of kids.

Perfect cabin get-away in Buena Vista area

This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely property.. well stocked kitchen and beautiful location. Lots of activities in the area. The listing was a little misleading in the sense they said under amenities ….air conditioning… but only fresh mountain air; which was one reason we rented because of allergies.

Family vacation

The cabin was well kept, spacious, and well stocked. The location was private but close to many activities. We loved the fire pit when it wasn't raining. My son-in-law is a gourmet chef and found the kitchen very well set up for his creations. The kids loved the hikes, St Elmo, horseback riding, and the wildlife.

Sweet stay

This cabin is beautiful and well stocked. The bed arrangements weren’t great for our group (3 twins in one room and a double in a loft with no door), but we knew that when we booked it. Elizabeth was quick to reply to our questions and very helpful. The location along the creek is dreamy as is the screened in porch and games for kids. Some of the furniture is tired but overall a very cozy stay in a beautiful location. It feels like a home, not just a rental. Thanks for a great stay!

Under promised and over delivered

10 of us, ages 6 to 75 spent 4 wonderful nights at this spectacular property. What a pleasant surprise! Wonderfully provisioned with superior appliances, cooking utensils, dining, serving and entertainment options. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements with 4 different temperature settings throughout the house and a few fireplaces to enjoy. Beautiful views of Mt. Princeton and Chalk Cliffs, accompanied with a very pleasant Chalk creek a stone's throw from the balcony. Spacious, comfortably furnished and exquisitely provisioned (to include a device for sharpening your scissors). We will return.

Comfortable home in beautiful surroundings

We chose this property for our annual women's only weekend. It met all of our expectations! It was easy to find, the setting was absolutely peaceful and beautiful, and the home was well stocked with all of the things we needed. There were 10 of us, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was awesome - we had everything we needed for meals, etc. I can't think of anything that needs improvement except perhaps to have some instructions posted about using the fireplace in the living room. We loved being by the creek and being so close to hiking trails. Thank you to our hosts for being so thoughtful about what guests would appreciate! I would definitely rent this home again and would recommend it for anyone.

Wonderful Stay

We spent a long weekend at the cabin for our sons 40th birthday. It has everything we needed and more. The location is easy to get to. The cabin is immaculate and had plenty of room for the 12 of us - 8 adults, 4 kids. We have been going to Mt. Princeton for the last 40 plus years and this was by far our favorite stay. There is plenty of seating to accommodate everyone indoors and out. We loved having coffee by the creek in the morning, spending the day fishing in the creek and finishing the night up by the campfire roasting s'mores. The wrap around porch with the view of the Chalk Cliffs and Chalk Creek was truly a dream. Elizabeth was very responsive and very accommodating to our needs, we also give her 5 stars. The cabin is an amazing property for family pictures, we can't wait to put our photo books together for the family. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will be back. Peace and Love, Bob and Janis
