Gut: Zustand der Unterkunft
We had booked a hotel room for three nights. Upon arrival we realized that we had made a mistake. The room was loud as the windows are only single-glazed. In addition they have a bar and restaurant where people talk loudly until late. The bathroom was old and not clean.
I talked to the reception and explained why we didn't want to stay. The lady explained that we could not cancel the first night, but after having talked to her manager she gave as two options. We could decide on the next morning whether we wanted to stay (if it wasn't as bad as we thought) and in this case we could have switched to a different room. The second option was a refund of nights two and three. As everything beside the noise seemed to be ok, we agreed and stayed for the first night.
Due to the noise we really did sleep very badly and decided to look for another hotel on the next morning. We booked another hotel and then informed the reception before check-out that we were going to leave. The receptionist (a different one this time) told us that this was not possible and was clear that it was our fault as we must have misunderstood. He claimed that we could have left the night before which his colleague had definitely not proposed. We were promised to be contacted by the manager to talk about the issue which didn't happen even after I returned after two more days. We are very disappointed by this treatment and cannot recommend the hotel. The photos are much more promising than the reality.
